Reasonable hotel, Air con did not work so had to use a fan, cramped room but good location for emerates, O.K for a one night say.

Good, fair price. Very pleasant helpful staff. Lovely room. Great location with good transport links. No bad points to comment. Accommodation was chosen mainly for location as I have a relative that lives locally and wanted to stay close by. We was very happy with room, it was cleaned extremely well during stay, spotless. We was given free upgrade […] as we were there for a birthday weekend and larger room was not being used - staff could not do enough for us, pleasant, helpful and courteous. Although not the best high street in the world a walk around the corner presented typical well presented residential streets. Also extremely easy access to very good transport links for both bus and train services with Camden being a short 10 minute bus ride away. Holloway road. 2 minute walk (in high heels :-)) provided us with a selection of bars and very reasonably priced resturantes with lovely food and service. I would definately stay here again and people should not be put off by bad reviews. I have stayed in lots of places across UK and Europe and felt Mount apartments was as good if not better than most, I found the high street satisfactory but the price reflects this fairly and a compromise can always be made, afterall we did not stay here for the high street but for good easy access to explore London and a pleasant, clean well equipt room - which is what we had and the overall area felt safe with good 24hour bus services. Newly renovated, I upgraded to executive apartment. I did not like going upstairs and stayed downstairs. Studio was too tight for my liking. The surrounding area makes you question if it's safe, but after 10 days, it seemed like there were no worries. It feels worse than it actually is. It was 5-7 minutes from Finsbury Park Tube, Victoria Line. Accommodations […] rival that of the top hotels, but with double bed, movie channels, high speed wifi, included, pretty good. The area I was told is "on the edge". I would consider going back there again in the future. Lesa meira

Hotel staff gave up our studio apartment to someone else for our first night and upgraded us for an executive apartment for 1 night, which was a very nice surprise. At the same time they promised to let us stay in the executive room for the rest of our time by paying 20% extra, so we agreed. The executive apartment was neat and very stylished, as you […] would expect from a 4 star joint, nothing to complain there. Finally when it was time to change rooms, the manager breached the earlier agreement and tried to double the price (he showed us some "standard" rates from a website that wasn't even their own). Not seeing eye to eye, we negotiated the upgrade down to 60% of "his standard price". Later when I checked the rates, I found out from their own website that I had paid more than their own standard. Also, the studio apartment looks nothing like in their pictures! Please be aware. Lesa meira

The apartment was quite night and very close to takeaways and tesco which was handy, however the apartment was too warm for my and my boyfriend even with the air con on which was abit overwhelming. The apartment was nice and clean also the bed was very comfy. The whole apartment was very nice with a lovely big tv in however getting to the room was a […] little hard as the spiral stairs was VERY narrow and the view from the window was a wall LOL. Wasn't too happy that there was a builder working out the window which woke us up. the best best hotel i have ever find.

We found the apartment extremley handy. It had everything we needed and more eg, washing machine and toastie maker! The WiFi connection was fast too and there are convenience stores,bars etc all very close by. My only complaints about our stay were a sticky bathroom mat (needs to be binned) and the temperature of the room. The thermostat was set to […] over 30 and we hadn't been shown how to use the air con. Plus the room had no window apart from a tiny skyline and I suffer from claustrophobia, so this was an issue. There was also drilling at 9am in the reception (right outside our bedroom door) it would have been nice to have been advised of this earlier. This place is weird. They don't have a proper reception, there was a ton of stuff in the hallways, the room (which was supposed to be the "deluxe" or slightly better one) was really small. Also, our bed kind of dipped in the middle so we were constantly rolling in to the middle. On the other hand, it was pretty cheap, it was pretty clean, the wireless […] worked great, and you have a (small but functional) kitchen. Weigh the pros and cons. This hotel room was clean, well-maintained, modern. Although the area is not the best one in London, in turned out to be surprisingly convenient for us as tourists. The Finsbury Park station was 2 minutes walk and Victoria and Piccadilly line trains reached city center and main tourist attractions in 7-10 minutes. Arsenal stadium was also a walking […] distance and my children enjoyed going there. We also liked the staff at the hotel and the service. I would recommend the hotel to my friends. Lesa meira

We booked a 'studio room' for 2 people, but when we got there the room was so tiny, the ceiling so low, and the bed was single. The woman showing us around said "for 20 pounds per night extra you can upgrade to an 'executive' room". I told her that the website said that all the rooms were large and have a king size bed, but i just received a blank stare […] in return. English skills lacking, i think. We had no choice but to pay the extra 20 pounds - they requested cash only, and we got no receipt. The spiral stair case is ridiculous; and then an extra set of steps that were not like normal steps - crazily steep and very narrow. On the plus size, once you're inside the 'executive' room, it was quite all right, bathroom nice, room nice, kitchen all good, facilities good. The cleaning/housekeeping of the room was very good. But it was a very strange experience, like nothing you would expect in the Western world, especially for the price - so definitely not recommended. Lesa meira

A lot less than we were expecting from the price and the description on the website. From all the places in London, thie neighbourhood is nowhere near a good location and is not a pretty place either. The building is an ackward construction with strange decoration and bad reception service. We had problems with the booking and our choice of flat and […] they didn't handle this in a very professional way. The room was ok, but with just two tiny internal windows, the apartment was short of air and the temperature raises during the night (no air con). The room was clean and nice, but unfortunately I couldn't recommend to stay here. If you book in advance you can find much better options for this price. Lesa meira

Clean but terribly small rooms where the bed was in the way of the bathroom door.

The rooms in this apartment block are not sound proofed as suggested in the spec on hotels.com. I have stayed there on two separate occasions, both times the rooms were clean, spacious and very modern, nice comfortable beds too. But the first stay was disrupted by constant noise from the staff and guests arriving at midnight and disputing the charge […] for their late arrival until 1am. Hi, I stayed here in an executive room with a mate during our stay to see an Arsenal match. The hotel is decent, with friendly girls in the reception and satisfactory cleaning of the room. One should not expect too much from the rooms though. They are nice enough (by all means), but are somewhat lacking of maintenance. Spotlights hang loose in the […] ceiling, the closing-mechanism in the basin had to be repaired (by me) during our stay and the garbage bin was not working as it was supposed to. I didn't complain to the staff since we hardly were at the room anyway, so I don't know how they would have handled it. The area where the hotel is situated seems poor. It's not a slum, but the people in the streets (not homeless people, just people we passed by) and the houses/shops looks old and tired. We didn't have any negative experiences with anyone though. On the positive side, it's not far to Finsbury Park Staition, so it's easy to get to the tube. It's also relativly close (5 min walk) to Emirates Stadion which was great for us. Mount Apartments comes recomended if you don't expect top hotel-standard and want to live relatively cheap. (It has to be said that I've lived under much worse conditions during former stays in London.) Lesa meira

I have stayed in some strange places in London but this was by far the strangest. In a quite threatening location the building has been refurbished very oddly with rooms jammed into most unsuitable spaces. I refused to stay in the first room I was shown to as you had to move the bed to get into the bathroom. I was 'upgraded' to an executive room which, […] although small, was fine and comfortable apart from the fact that the only two windows looked on to internal corridors so the room had no natural light. The main problem however was that the only means of accessing the rooms on the first floor was via a very narrow spiral ladder. I am small to average in size and reasonably fit but I found it awkward to negotiate and it was too small for me to carry up my overnight bag. The receptionist had to bring it up via some alternative private route. I find it hard to believe that this access to the upper floors complied with the fire regulations. The claims on the hotel website information are a little misleading in suggesting at the accommodation includes restaurants, bars, shops etc. It actually includes none of these but because it is on the main road it is opposite a small supermarket and is in close proximity to a number of restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff seemed polite and pleasant but for the reasons above I would not recommend the place to anyone. Lesa meira

This was was a very nice and clean place to stay especially if you are on a budget... I looked around and for this price I could only find 2 star hotels and had to share the bathroom and the shower... I actually booked the studio initially but upgraded to the executive suits for a small fee as I was checking in.. The studios were smaller with very tiny […] toilets and showers but the executive room was very large with a descent size kitchen and a large bathroom... The only problem with this hotel was that it was not located in central London. Had it been, it would have easily gone for 200- 300 pounds a night. From the hotel it was a 10 minute walk to the closest station (finsbury park) and from there it was a 10 minute train ride to central London... the neighbourhood was safe but not upscale... But over all this was a great hotel and would definitly recommend it. In fact next time I am in London, I'll stay here again. Lesa meira

We used these apartments as the were located quite close to London City Centre. The nearest tube station is Finsbury Park which is located in Zone 2 and has two different lines running into the centre. The apartment itself was very clean and was cosy enough for the two of us. The complex however seemed to be going through some improvements and as […] a result there was some building work taking place which started around 9am, but wasnt a problem. The area which the apartment was situated wasnt the best but we couldnt complain. One issue was that there was no parking so i had to find parking elsewhere. Luckily i found one only 5 minutes walk away. Overall, a nice set up inside, and cant complain too much. Would recommend to friends and would definately use again. Lesa meira

I arrrived less than 10 mins after late check in (but there was no mention of late check in charges anywhere when i booked!!). My room had been given away to someone else even though i booked it a week ago and had proof. I had to wait over half an hour before i was finally given a room - whilst waiting for a room i wasn't informed about the mix up - […] only told to wait. When finally a room was available they (who i am convinced was a young person working after school and still in school uniform! Not very prodessional!) asked me to pay more as it was a dearer room! i refused but paid the late check in fee. My room was big with good mod cons etc and would have been impressive but the hygiene was well below par...dirt, dust, hairs, stains... I had high hopes for this place and was hoping to make it a regular stay while working in london but not anymore - and i DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Lesa meira

The hotel is clean, nice people, room very confortable, prices correct, 15 min by subway to St Pancras. Quite place. Small Tesco supermarket across the street. Rooms very well equiped.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Interior was very nicely decorated. I was amazed to see a nice hotel near Arsenal stadium. Other hotels are just 2-3 stars. This hotel is definitely 4*. I was impressed. I am definitely coming back.

Lovely room but we didnt sleep at all due to the faulty air con. It sounded like a door entry system buzzer and it went off every 5 mins

Had a great stay at this place. The staff were friendly and helpful. Upgraded flat was provided free of charge due to there being some empty exectutive appartments at the time. Was very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort. Kitchen facilities were of a very high standard as well. Would definitely stay there again.

I was traveling to UK from US and online the hotel seemed super nice and spacious. I just ASSUMED it was in a good neighborhood but was sooo wrong. The area is "ghetto" and a 20 minute train/tube ride to Picadilly Circus. The hotel itself is an apartment building with very narrow hallways and the rooms are smaller than they look online. Although the […] staff was friendly it was not helpful at all. The room was clean though and was very convenient because it had a kitchen with dishes, utensils, etc and even a washer! So that was the upside of the room. I defiantly would not recommend it to anyone who likes staying at 4-5 star hotels while on vacation. At MOST i would give it 2-3 stars. Lesa meira

I would recommend this place. The service is good. Staff is pleasant. The area is not so nice but convenient as it is close to Finsbury tube station and Holloway Rd. The apartment is clean and spacious. The building is secure. Everything in the apartment works properly. I liked the place. I would recommend.

I stayed with my family at Mount. We were checked in quickly, given clear directions when and how to check out, given wireless internet passwords and a beautiful apartment with kitchen and a clean en-suite bathroom. We had everything we needed there and enjoyed the stay a lot. Thank you.

If I'm honest, it's a bit of a glorified bed-sit, and the air-con is at best very noisy (that's other peoples' air con, I switched mine off) - I was fortunate I had ear plugs with me. I would not recommend unless it's in very close proximity to your reason for being in London

I was pleased with my stay at this hotel. It has a nice kitchen, toilet. Room is clean and comfortable. Very convienant to reach to all the london beautiful attractions in London.

Close to station , staff were really helpful and friendly and could do enough to make stay great . Apartment was clean and quiet with all the things you need to be able to cook and eat in if you don't fancy eating out . Would be happy to stay again.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, however the room was a shoebox, hiddden in the depths of sinuous poorly made building. the bed filled the room, with space only for the door to swing or to walk to the bathroom, where i couldn't stand upright in the shower. The idea of having a kitchen with a fridge seemed good but who wants to eat lunch or […] sip a beer in dark low ceiling matchbox? The area seemed ok but we didn't stay out late to find out. It is a great hotel, just 10 minutes walk to the Arsenal Stadium. Lots of restaurants and cafe around the hotel. shopping market is just 5 minutes away. Hotel is clean and cheerful. Small but has everything, Kitchen, toilet large bed. Will recommend it my friends. Price is good as well.

I stayed at Mount Apartments for one night. It is about 5-10 minutes walk from Finsbury Park tube station. I had a reservation for a small apartment, but the air condition in that room did not work so the man in the reception moved me to another apartment which was twice as big. There was a large bathroom, a kitchen with all appliances, a refrigerator […] and to my surprise a washing machine. Very nice clean room. But this is not a hotel. Just a house with few apartments. So there is no service, only one person works there at a time and they don't sell any food or drinks. But there is a 24/7 supermarket across the street. Free internet access in the rooms. Check-out time is at or before 11 AM. For later check-out there is an extra fee for each hour. There was also an extra fee for a late check-in. Everything was nice in the apartment, clean and cosy. But the neighbourhood was not as nice. Okay by day, but I wouldn't recommend anyone walking from the tube station to Mount Apartments late at night. It was quite scary. Lesa meira

Room was comfortable and clean. Room was big and with nice kitchen. Good shower/bathroom. Staff was polite. Had a lovely time at the hotel.

Hotel is very close to underground. Staff is very helpful. We arrived late in the evening and were checked in very quickly. Apartment has a queen size bed and a nice kitchen and bathroom.

I had a short break with my girlfriend. It was very nice as we had a bottle of champagne in the room with diner she cooked for me. It was just very nice time. I would like to come back here and have more fun. Apartment was definitely good and we were upgraded free of charge. Manger was helpful.

Apartments are close to city and better than a hotel. It is to reach west end Oxford street from the hotel. All the attractions are close by. Camden market is just 10 minutes by bus. very happy with the apartment. Staff is friendly and good.

Hotel is just 6 minutes walk from the station. Station has a direct line to Piccadilly. Room was clean and comfortable. Has a large king size bed with its own kitchen and bathroom. Has a cool air con in the room which made it very comfortable stay in the room. Will come back soon here.

Stayed with my children. Booked a studio but got upgraded to an executive as I was with kids. Nice service and manager. The area was not great but the Apartments were very secure and the tube station is near. Room is very clean. It had a spacious kitchen and a dining area for two. Really nice.

Hotel is just 4 minutes walk from Finsbury Park underground tube station. Piccadilly & Victoria comes every 2 minutes. There is a main shopping area just 5 minutes away. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. I had my meeting in upper street which was 7 minutes by Taxi. Rooms are big and clean.

Hotel is just 7 minutes walk away to Emirates Stadium. It is a small private 4* hotel with homely feeling inside. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathroom are big and nice. Tesco is just outside the hotel. Full of cafes around for breakfast, lunch or diner. Rooms are fully equipped with Kitchen. Will definitely come back for a week next time.

The King sized bed advertised turned out to be a smaller than double convertable divan. This was clearly not we paid for, but we were too tired to argue, and reluctantly accepted it. We were promised an upgrade after 2-3 days, and finally got one after 6, for our last night. The room was barely 6 ft wide. The wireless internet only worked reliably out […] in the corridoor. The circular staircase is impassible for anyone larger than average, or trying to carry baggage. How it meets fire and safety regulations is beyond me! The ammenities were however clean and new ,and the room serviced every day. The location is very convenient to food shops, tube and bus services. Lesa meira

What a nightmare! Whatever you do please find somewhere else to stay. The staff totally incompetent, I had asked for an additional nights stay when I checked in which all okay only to be told on the third day I had to check out as they had a more important guest who was staying for 3 months. I could not find an alternative hotel and so bought a ticket […] to return home to cheshire coming back to London the next morning which cost me £261! Then I waited nearly an hour for an invoice which I later received by e-mail but not before I missed my train because staff kept telling me 'just 10 minutes sir" which cost me another train ticket at £130! Whatever you do DO NOT STAY HERE. The area is a dump, not safe. Lesa meira

Hade bokat detta i tron att vi skulle kunna sköta oss själva. Möttes av hotellchefen som talade om att rummet inte var färdigt. Vi fick vänta 2 timmar och när vi återkom fick vi besked att ena rummet av två var vattenskadat så man hade stuvat in oss fyra i en familjelägenhet där ena sängen var högst 1,50 m bred. Detta godtog vi inte utan resultatet […] blev att vi bytte hotell och område för det var heller inget vidare. Inget att rekommendera. Lesa meira
