Hotel Ajoncs d'Or – Saint-Malo

Stayed here for one night expecting a high quality hotel for the price in comparison with others in the area. Unfortunately the room was in need of some TLC and was very small. Bathroom was new and nicely decorated, but shower was very small. Wouldn't stay here again at the price - there are nicer alternatives for a lower price not far away.

This hotel is in the town center, so parking is challenging. There are lots of car parks just outside the city walls, at most a 5 minute walk - up the hill - so unload luggage at the hotel and then find a spot. Parking is free both inside & outside the city walls from 8pm - 9am.

Perfect for a short stay in St Malo. Right in th heart of the walled city and mere seconds from the eateries, cafes and restaurants and a stones throw from the ferry.

The staff of this Hotel were very welcoming, helpful and spoke good english. Good size room with very good shower and bath room. Comfy double bed to. Hotel was clean and stylish in a tradishional but modern french apperance. I would happly come back to this Hotal again and recommend the hotel to friends and family in the future. The old walled area by the port is the nicest part of St Malo, crowded with interesting cafes and characterful mostly fish restaurants.Parking near the hotel is not straightforward -- didn't use the hotel's own facilities -- but that is the price you pay for being in the heart of things. Nice freshly made breakfast.

The hotel was very clean and the room modern and comfortable. This was a perfect over night stop for us before the ferry and ideal for a little exploration of the old city for the evening we had in St Malo. The staff were friendly and the breakfast (continental with option of boiling your own eggs) was good quality and fresh. Couldn't really fault it. […] Would use again. Lesa meira

I only gave a 3 for comfort because the room we had was very small. The lady at reception explained to us that there was a big conference in the town that week and that they were fully booked. Otherwise, we were very pleased. We love Saint Malo and the hotel was very well situated for walking around and getting to the ferry terminal the next mornin […] g. Lesa meira

The people who run this hotel are so nice it's incredible. They humored me with my fractured French, even though their English is fluent, and were very, very helpful. Our rental car sported a big company sticker on its bumper - translating to "rob me, please" - so we weren't comfortable leaving our luggage in the car while we visited Mont St Michel. […] We dropped by the hotel long before check-in time, and the staff offered to hold our luggage until we returned, giving us great peace of mind. The room was sweet; and the bed ultra-comfortable. Our window opened out on the street, and our view was of the rooftops of St. Malo. Breakfast was filling. We had our choice of boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, croissants, breads, jams, cafe, tea, etc. I would return there without hesitation. Lesa meira

All the hotel staff were very friendly and the positioning was fantastic - right inside the town walls (Intra Muros).

Ottima posizione, all'interno delle mura di Saint Malo, nel raggio di pochi metri ci sono tanti negozi e ristoranti.

Vi bodde her to netter, og er storfornøyde med oppholdet. Rommene var rene og trivelige, og sengen var god å sove i. Vi valgte å spise frokost her, noe som også kan anbefales. Betjeningen er hyggelig, men et lite minus er at nattevakten ikke snakket engelsk. J’ai été très déçu par l’accueil, qui est vraiment important dans l'appréciation d'un hôtel. 
C’est un trois étoiles assez bas de gamme, avec une chambre très petite. J’ai été très mal conseillé, notamment sur le nombres de places de parking du Ferry, très importantes soi-disant. En réalité, le parking est complet très rapidement, et nous avons failli […] rater le bateau. Il y a d'autres hôtels dans le centre beaucoup mieux. Lesa meira

hôtel très bien situé intra muros, dommage que la chambre réservée ait des rideaux occultant qui ne se ferment pas complétement, la salle de bain n'avait pas de rideau ou de volet si bien que lorsque vous prenez votre douche l'immeuble d'en face voit absolument tout vu que la lumière s’allume automatiquement et que vous ne pouvez donc pas l’éteindr […] e. L'hôtel est situé dans une partie très calme de Saint Malo, à proximité des remparts. La chambre était très agréable et confortable, la salle de bain un peu petite mais irréprochable. Peut-être manquerait-il un petit plateau d’accueil avec Thé, café, bouilloire et douceurs.

１１月中旬という時期だったこともあり、ゆっくり静かに過ごすことができました。ファミリールームを利用しましたが、とても広く綺麗で快適でした。Recepitonの方もとても感じが良く、朝食も美味しかったです。また機会があれば利用してみたいと思えるホテルでした。

Accueil chaleureux. Proche des transports en commun : tout peut se faire sans voiture. Possibilité d'aller à Cancale, Mont St Michel... à moindre coût.

Hotel molto carino, ottimo punto di partenza per la visita della città, personale disponibile e gentile e camera molto spaziosa e accogliente. Chiedete alla reception per i ristoranti del quartiere, ne conoscono di buonissimi e faranno di tutto per accontentarvi. Ci ritorneremo!!!
