The Hall Park Hotel – Workington

My family and I stayed at The Hall Park Hotel in May on a Saturday night whilst visiting Whitehaven for a music festival. Our family room was both large, clean and comfortable and we all slept well in this easy-to-find location. This hotel does everything it can to provide good service to their guests. I mentioned the first night at dinner that my allergies were acting up and did they have caminolle tea. They apologies they did not. The next day they sent someone out to a health store and provided to me in my room for personal use or to bring to breakfast or dinner. Meals are […] good with very large portions and served very hot. Room wase very clean with heated towel rack and updated bathroom. The only downside is that it is located near a busy road in the morning if you are looking for a lay-in. But this did not bother me. Most of the guests seem to stay there often and are considered friends. Will definately return. Lesa meira

Great hospitality & Excellent food. Very friendly staff and locals. room was very clean. the only down side was their was no bath in the room- just a shower. The sink was cracked and the shelf above it was loose on the wall so the mirror fell of it when used. We did not ask for a bath in room when booked so unsure if they have them avaliable? Very welcoming staff and well appointed rooms. Good range of evening meals available, cooked to order. Parking might be a problem during the week if hotel full, but no problem for us over the weekend. If needed to go to this area again would stay here.

We had a great time here.. the staff are excellent and VERY helpful. The only downside was that the meals were way too big, and although probably very suitable for the many workmen staying here, it would have been nice to have the option of something lighter..salads etc.

Warmly welcomed. Special dispensation shown to an elder relative. Good value for freshly prepared food. Tremendous choice of cereals at breakfast followed by a good breakfast. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the weekend very much. Just one comment - no mirror fitted in bathroom

This is an excellent Hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very nice. Location is also very good, just a few minutes for the centre of the town. Would stay here again.
