Á Colonial Village Resort eru innisundlaug, heitur pottur og útisundlaug sem er opin hluta úr ári. Þráðlaust net er ókeypis á opnum svæðum. Gestum er boðið upp á ókeypis morgunverð. Á hótelinu eru meðal annars spila-/leikjasalur, útigrill og þvottahús. Bílastæði eru ókeypis fyrir hótelgesti.
Herbergi:
Herbergi opnast út á svalir. Meðal annars eru í boði opnanlegir gluggar og útvarpsklukkur í herbergjum með loftkælingu á Colonial Village Resort. Sjónvörp eru með kapalrásum. Allri gistingu fylgja símar og ókeypis innanbæjarsímtöl (takmarkanir kunna að gilda). Á baðherbergjum eru baðkör með sturtu með lausum sturtuhausum.
Á öllum herbergjum eru örbylgjuofnar og ísskápar. Í boði eru hárblásarar og straujárn/strauborð sé þess óskað. Þrif eru í boði daglega. Endurnýjun á öllum herbergjum lauk í mars 2007.
Mögulegt er að gjalds verði krafist fyrir aukagesti. Slíkt fer eftir stefnu hvers hótels fyrir sig.

"Wonderful view and access to bay and ocean"
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. After reading previous reviews we expected an older hotel but were happily surprised at how nice it was. The room was spacious and it was wonderful to have the kitchen with a full sized refridgerator. The only draw back was that we didn't find out about the hot tub that was working outside by the pool until the morning […] we left. It was a super nice tub and would have preferred using that one over the one in the indoor pool. Especially the last night because it wasn't hot. Just wished that the staff had informed us about it. "OK for the price"
Very large and convenient rooms. much larger than the regular size and contain refrigerator, oven, micro and other kitchen facilities. nice indoor swimming pool and private access to the sea (but don't rent kayaks ... The location is a bit far from town - must use a car to go there. I was a bit disappointed to find that there are no shampoos or tea/cofee […] set. Overall well worth the money. Lesa meira
"Some Work Needed"
The Colonial Village Resort was getting ready to close for the season, so that may explain why there were some problems, particularly in the bathroom. The faucets were difficult to operate - they were on wrong, so when you thought you were turning on the cold, you were actually turning on the hot. The bathtub didn't drain when we showered, and as a […] result, we showered in practically knee deep soapy water. The shower head could not be adjusted, and consequently, water spewed everywhere. When one of the other rooms flushed the toilet, the cold water became non-existent for a few seconds and a couple of times I got a little burned. The location is very convenient, and again, the room was clean and the staff was very cordial. But I probably would not stay there again. Lesa meira
"This was a Negative First!"
This was the first place I have stayed which did NOT have soap or shampoo or any other bathroom items. There was a bathroom fan but, not a switch to turn it on. Notes on wall in kitchen states cost for missing dishes and the total count of dishes in question which did not coinside with what was in cupboard. Cups were in need of bleaching. On door is […] sign, if smoking in room, 150.00 fine. The sign that was supposed to be on dresser was behind dresser along with tissue box and dust bunnies too. Makes one think the room was set up for a smoker to smoke and they would be able to charge the fees for that along with the missing dish charge. It would be your word against theirs. I was worried and asked about the dishes and sign behind the dresser. They said was this a king bed room? Then, stated that oh that is okay. Not a comfortable feeling. What other's have commented on I found true. The TV is in an odd location, but it swivels. The continental breakfast is not much more than doughnuts or cereal and poor quality juice & coffee. The indoor pool was small and dark, and the video games stole my quarters. Also...there are no shampoo, lotions etc. The plumbing is loud. But I was happy with […] the size of the room. It was a comfortable room, I just wished the tv was in the bedroom. The bathroom was very small and the sink was outside it. I loved the little balconey and the bed was comfortable. I was dissappointed that there were no small bottles of shampoo or bath soap in the room. The indoor pool and hot tub were great and we really enjoyed them. It was nice […] that the pool was open til 10 pm. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpfull as to where to go to eat. "A Very Pleasant Stay"
Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable. Very well situated and the employees were very nice and accommodating. I hope to go back and plan to recommend it to my friends and family. A pleasnt surprise because I reserved sight unseen!

My daughter and I stayed here for one night on Labor Day weekend. Convenient location...footbridge access to beach straight out back, but walk to town is just 0.5mi, easily doable even with a 10-year-old. Room was clean although bathroom quite small. Front desk staff were wonderful and friendly. Had to confront the maintenance man who was banging incessantly at my curtained window. When I asked him what the problem was, he told me he didn't know anyone was in there. Hotel rooms are way over-priced and the box spring was filthy and stained...looks like it was pulled out of a dumpster. "We tried...but once was enough"
We were turned off by the large amount of mold growing on the ceiling of the bathroom....We stayed over a holiday weekend, so we did not even ask if they could relocate us....Once was enough....there are plenty of other choices and next time we will go somewhere else.....
"Colonial Village Resort, Ogunquit, ME"
This was just what we needed for a few days in Ogunquit. We couldn't afford the more central hotels but this one was still fairly close and gave us an excuse to use the trolley to go to Perkins Cove. Crossing the river to get to the sea was an amusing adventure. The pool was great. Only gripe was the 'Continental' breakfast. I don't think that anyone […] on the Continent has donuts for breakfast... Some bread/toast would have been appreciated but we made do with the choice of cereals and porridge. Lesa meira
"Great location"
Colonial Village is in a perfect location to walk to restaurants or just walk downtown. The trolley will pick you up so you don't have to drive to the beach or Perkins Cove. The pool is huge, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel and front desk attendent were great, only complaint was the matress was uncomfortable.

-- one thing though...the TV was situated a little odd on the center of the room split between living and bedroom area -- could not watch tv from bed perhaps there should be 2 tv's - beacause the room is split. Lot's of restaurants and activities to do!!

"Colonial Village Resort, Ogunquit Maine"
Older facility. Clean and well kept, but not shiny, new, modern. The room layout is a bit cramped, but overall it was just fine for 3 adults.

Very nice family oriented resort. (although my confirmation email said 18+ only). short walk to downtown attractions. I will definately stay again and recommend to friends. I recommend the cottages for families. Although I didn't use the charcoal grills onsite, they are a plus for those who prefer not to dine out. My room also had a refrigerator.... Very family friendly place. Clean & comfortable & spacious room. Nice pool & awesome beach which you can access by walking across bay (very,very shallow). Wish we had time for more than one night. Continental breakfast was just okay.

"The Colonial Village Resort in Ogunquit"
The Village Resort was better than I expected. The room was large with a king size bed and a small kitchen. It was clean. The pools were big. The only thing I was disappointed in was the free breakfast. Rice Crispies and donuts. The choices in cold cereal could have been greater and having bagels and toast with jam or peanut butter would have been nice. […] It is a nice simple hotel. The Hotel has a nice location. I got a room with a nice balcony and view of the sea Although it does have direct access to the beach, it is on reasonable walking distance of that access.
