This hotel is amazing. First of all it doesn't feel like a hotel more like an upscale condo with a concierge. The building has 22 floors, most of them with the exception of three levels are private upscale residences, the hotel operates three upper levels. I had a one bedroom suite and it was outstanding, tastefully decorated in contemporary style, […] includes all the amenities from home. Full kitchen fully equipped and even a laundry room with your own washer.(Yes they even provide soap and fabric softener) The location is prime, you are on Reforma Avenue close to everything. The hotel has a restaurant on site and provides room service as well. Your suite will have a fully stock bar including wine, and all kinds of snacks at reasonable prices. Don't miss the swimming pool located on the "A" level for Ammenities, where you will also find the Gym, Sauna, Whirlpool, and the Spa. The swimming pool overlooks REFORMA Avenue, it was great. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I would have given this property the highest score, but there are two flaws. WiFi was worthless, intermittent service, the staff tried to looked in to it but were not able to fix it. I ended up walking across the street to Starbucks, and the other issue are the pillows, they are of inferior quality. I really can't understand why a place like this that otherwise excels in every area, can overlook these two important factors. Despite the two mentioned flaws I would highly recommend this property. This is more a condo with all the amenities, rather than a hotel. The staff is friendly, but not on top of you and you share the amenities of the condo, which are pretty great. In particular, the pool, sauna and steam are worth highlighting - the latter two because they actually get really hot, unlike standard hotel saunas and steam rooms. The pool […] is a real lap pool and not made for little kids to splash around in (frowned upon and prohibited, thankfully). The finishes in the apartments are the only thing that leaves somewhat to be desired (they're a little cheap), though the overall effect still works quite well. Highly recommendable, especially if you have to go to DF for a while or are in a larger group. Probably not the best place for families with toddlers and small children, though well-behaved kids 10 and up should do great here. Lesa meira

The suites at Plaza 77 Suites are spacious and well-appointed. The one-bedroom suite is truly an apartment with adequate kitchen, dining room, and living room. A foyer to the left of the entrance was sufficiently spacious for a double sofa bed, so at least three adults can sleep comfortably in a one-bedroom suite. One point that needs to be addressed […] is that the air conditioning unit is only in the bedroom itself. During those months of the year when the temperature is warmer in Mexico City, I suspect that the climate in the sofa bed area may not be comfortable. One weak link is the restaurant affiliated with the hotel, also called Plaza 77. Service is very poor. Lesa meira

It is a hotel/residence place where 3 floors are for the hotel rest are private condos. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative is the location. The closest shopping center is Reforma 222 which is a new mall with restaurants. The metro station is about a mile from the hotel and at night not much within walking distance.

Excellent staff. Helpful and friendly. The bath was too high and you could slip when coming out. The hotel could not be seen from the road and was difficult to find for most cabs. Enjoyed the pool and the jaccuzi as well as the movie theater where I had a private screening of 2 videos. They need to get some newer videos. I expected something like a Embassy Suites but this was an actual apartment. It had one bedroom with bath, a sofa bed in a nook, a second full bath, a full kitchen and living room. It was a wonderful place to stay. They occasionally missed giving us soap but as soon as we called they were right there with whatever we needed. I will certainly go back […] to Mexico City and most certainly stay at the Plaza Suites property again. The location was perfect and the street noise was minimal. I could not believe that anyone visiting Mexico City, the third largest city in the world, would fuss about the street noise. Great rooms and views. Very helpful and willing staff. We had an excellent stay. Don't be put off by comments below, this really is a very pleasing place to stay, despite minor irritations. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk into the centre of the city, along the main roads. We did this regularly and enjoyed it. We also walked in the opposite direction […] to the Anthropological Museum, which takes the best part of 45 minutes, but reveals the city in a very different way. There were a few difficulties. First, taxis from the airport don't know where it is, but they do know the Embassy Suites, which is right next door. We had this information in advance, it turned out to be exactly correct, and staff from one place too us over to the other once we realised we had taken to the wrong hotel. Literally one minute across the road. Second, all the rooms look out onto Av. Paseo de la Reforma, which is a major avenue through the city, and which is very busy as well as noisy. Cars start up early and horns, as well as traffic police whistles, start seriously from around 7am. The views made up for this, but it was wearing at times. We were very happy when when the weekend came round and traffic was banned in favour of bicycles. Third, the rooms are actually apartments with kitchen facilities, but there aren't really any shops nearby to get food for cooking. We ended up using OXXO - several nearby - which was mostly awful junk food. We also ate out often, which is what you should do anyway in such a rich food culture. Hotel breakfasts were very good - but menu meals, not a buffet, and not included in the price of the rooms. Forth, we called one evening to get a meal from the hotel restaurant in our room, but nobody in the kitchen spoke English and the hung up on us. Also, resist the temptations of the minibar and snacks - overpriced. Last, checkout was slower and clunkier than I expected - took about 20 minutes in the end. Great Hotel. I have been traveling to Mexico City for the past 8 years, and this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. For the price, no one has beat it. Just hope the next time I go to Mexico City the hotel will be available at the price I paid.

It is not a hotel. It is a Condo Hotel super well located for me. It is high class Residence building. I was on business trip and need more promotion about it. Nice place, kinda hard to find. Nobody knows about it...just tell the taxi driver it is across the street from Embassy Suites on Columbus Square. HVAC is lousy. One small unit in the bedroom but it only put out slightly-cool air. And this is one that bugs me at many motels: cheap toliet paper. You have a multi-million $$ hotel and charge $130/night […] and you have "gas-station-grade" toliet paper? What a pain in the @$$! Literally... Lesa meira

The hotel is well appointed and in an extremely convenient location. It is an all suite hotel that has three floors in a 19 story building. There is no sense of arrival whatsoever, but that seems to e the case with many suite hotels in Mexico City. The suite is nicely appointed with a nice view of the city - I was on the 12th story. There is a small […] restaurant where they serve breakfast - was told they would e serving lunch soon. Also a fine-dining restaurant was schedule to open on the street level in a couple of weeks. A Starbuck's is opened until 10pnm across the street and there are a lot of places to eat nearby. The suite has a completely equipped kitchen and there are convenience stores within a one lock radius. I liked the fact that you can open a window to let the breeze in. The hotel caters to business travelers with a well equipped business center and reasonably fast internet connection in your suite. Overall a great experience. Lesa meira

the Suites are excellent, very comfortable, very clean, the service people are kind and competent, the location is not so centrally located, but I wold trade the kitchen and one of the two bathrooms for an overnight service and a restaurant / bar (that I've been told is a project to come....). I haven't been using the SPA and the swimming pool, the […] pooltable or the Gym, for lack of time, but I noticed a few guests appreciated them. This a residential high end condo's that have a few floors of hotel. Very nice suites, well detailed with kitchenette and good for someone spending a number of days in downtown Mexico City. Wonderful indoor lap pool, gardens and gym...however, very new and few services like restaurant and bar.

Cobran el dólar 1 peso o más arriba del tipo de cambio, 20 dólares de resort Fee sin avisar. 300 pesos por un viaje en taxi de menos de 3 kilómetros. Las almohadas incómodas, el aire acondicionado pega directo a la cama. Ruido insoportable dicen que por estar en reforma pero me he quedado en varios hoteles y ninguno tan ruidoso como este y eso que estaba […] en el último piso. La estancia en este hotel con respecto a la comodidad y servicio es buena pero te quedas con mal sabor de boca al hacer Check Out, te dan una lista de todos los cobros y lo más exagerado es que si hasta usaste una toallita y quedó sucia te la cobran. Te hacen esperar casi mas de media hora en lo que revisan si todo está en la habitación como toallas, […] batas etc. Ademas te cobran de ley 25 dolares de más por hospedaje que por uso de instalaciones. Es tonto por que deberia de estar incluido si sus precios por habitación son estratosfericamente caros. Mala experiencia en este aspecto ahora que te gusta botar el dinero así fácil pues es recomendable que vayas ahí. Lesa meira
