Fínasta hótel á góðu verði og vel staðsett. Stutt að Times Square. Góður og vel útilátinn morgun matur og hreinlæti á herbergjunum mjög gott. Mæli með Best Western ef fólk vill hagstætt en gott hótel. Við vorum með tvö börn með okkur, 9 og 12 ára sem líkaði einnig vel :)

Hótelið er nálægt flugvellinum og er fínnt til að skella sér á yfir nótt, skoðaði ekkert hversu nálægt það var annari þjónustu.
Mögulegt er að gjalds verði krafist fyrir aukagesti. Slíkt fer eftir stefnu hvers hótels fyrir sig.
Krafist er skilríkja með mynd og kreditkorts eða innborgunar við innritun vegna tilfallandi gjalda.
Það fer eftir framboði hverju sinni hvort hægt sé að verða við séróskum og þær gætu haft í för með sér aukagjald. Ekki er hægt að tryggja að hægt sé að verða við viðkomandi óskum.
Ekki er boðið upp á aðgengi fyrir fatlaða á þessu hóteli. Vinsamlegast veldu annað hótel ef þú vilt bóka herbergi með aðgengi fyrir fatlaða.

"Bed and breakfast??"
Don't choose this based on the website that makes it look like a neat old brownstone. It has great potential, but they need to 1) invest in bedding (pillows that are more than a flat 2" thick & bedding that is large enough for the bed, matching towels would be nice, but not necessary?}; 2) bed frames (at least - but a headboard would be nice as well) […] that put the box spring and mattress up off the floor (really.....in NYC to have a bed sitting on the floor???); 3) curtains that can be closed easily without risking the v-shaped curtain rods coming down on you; 4) windows/AC window pleated adaptors that actually completely close; 5) breakfast that starts before 9 a.m. (when we checked in, that morning's breakfast bagels and muffins were still out without saran or anything over them to keep them from drying out and at 8:30 the next morning, the same basket of bagels and box of muffins was back out - by 9 a.m. however, there were fresh croissants, bagels and muffins, with bottles of orange juice and some pre-packaged cheese; 6) space to enjoy breakfast so as not to have to sit in the traffic pattern on a couple of small folding chairs or the stairs to the upper floors. The new walls are so thin that anything said in the 'foyer/breakfast room/check-in office' could be heard loud and clear through the walls. We did find the staff responsive to our request for a bar of soap in our room. The room looked like it had been cleaned but amenities hadn't been restocked. The bedding seemed clean, but very wrinkled - no blanket/quilt/covering for the bed and way too much furniture for the size of the room. To have the hangers hanging from the loop of the electric box panel was a little disconcerting. We really wanted to like this place and had great expectations, having stayed in other B&B's in NYC and all over the world, but this did not measure up. "Near Apollo Theater"
I was atending the Blues Foundation Robert Johnson event at teh Apollo Theater and had to be in Connecticut the next day so stayed in Harlem. This is an inexpensive location, clean, quite but is more like a youth hostel environment with shared bathroom and such. I found it fine for my purposes and got a good night sleep. Had room 9 not liked by many […] reviewers due to small size, but it did not bother me. Has a skylight so if you like the morning light to wake you up naturally great, if not this is not the room for you. Now windows, interior room with shared bathroom. They could spend a bit more to make the bathrooms look nicer, but overall can't beat the price in Manhattan. Lesa meira
"The Harlem Bed and Breakfast in New York City"
Having never stayed or really even visited in Harlem, I was not sure what to expect. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. It is right next to a really nice park, especially in the warm months. Is convenient to the 2/3 Express subway station, only 3 blocks away and the famous Apollo Theater is only 5 blocks. The neighborhood is quiet, […] clean and very safe feeling. But a really great little service is a very friendly face to greet you every time you come in through the front door. Not sure if they are there 24/7, but they were there every time my wife and I came in, sometimes as late as midnight. Breakfast is nice enough with fresh croissants and french bread, but lacking in fresh fruit. Coffee and tea is available 24 hours a day, a nice for perk for me. We stayed in the Garden room, allowing us to have a private bath, 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen, with basic pots and limited plates and service ware. Not something always available in bed and breakfasts. In addition, there is a pleasant little garden outside of the second bedroom that I am sure is a real joy in warmer months. It appears that they have BBQ facilities available for warm days. All of this would make this a great place for a small family gathering, as the rooms can easily support 7 people with one queen in the master bedroom and 2 doubles in the second room. The couch will sleep one. Disappointing to me for the price was the overall condition of the furnishings. The dressers were in really bad shape with drawers falling apart, the bed sheets were really rough and the beds were sitting directly on the floor with no bed frame. Lighting was relatively dark, and given being on the bottom of the brownstone, there were only 2 windows. The shower would benefit from a curved rod to get the shower curtain out and away from your body. The tub had jacuzzi capability but there was no stopper for the drain in order to use it. "Friendly Staff"
I travel to Harlem frequently for business and typically stay in mid town Manhattan. This location was much closer to where I was working and within walking distance of a lot of local businesses. The staff was very nice. I would definitely stay again.
"Wrong B&B"
Turns out there are 2 B&B on W 120th, this one and one 6 doors down, the other 5 people in my group were at the other one, similar price much better accommodations. Do not book room #9, it is roughly 6x12 interior room, a small skylight and right next to the shared bathroom, also a 3rd floor walk up steep stairs. When I arrived they had no record of […] a reservation, waited for about 30 minutes while they called the owner and they found the reservation finally. Single bed sitting on the floor, there was a wardrobe but basically unusable as it was filled with miscellaneous junk. Worked out OK as I only spent time there to sleep. There is WiFi but the signal strength made it impossible to connect. Lesa meira

Very friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast choices, and quite close to a subway station for getting to downtown.

This B&B has some potential to be a good place to stay, but a number of issues caused me to give it only a 1 rating. Upon arrival, the owner put us in a different room claiming it was an upgrade because we would have our own bathroom. BUT when we were shown to our room, the owner had allowed the men working on the garden in the back to keep walking […] through it, and they continued to do so even though we were there. Completely unacceptable. When we brought this to the owner's attention, he said it shouldn't worry us, and that the following day when they were working, he'd throw a tarp over our things - he obviously didn't get it. Needless to say, we didn't feel comfortable leaving our valuables there. The bedroom door didn't even close all the way. Additionally, the floor of our room was disgustingly dirty. After showering I walked to my room and my feet were BLACK on the the bottom from the 10 foot walk. It shows that the floors hadn't been cleaned, swept, or mopped in quite a while. On a semi-good note, the breakfast spread looked decent, and the decor was simple but nice. Again, the place had a lot of potential. For the rate I paid, which is required in full at the time of booking, I was incredibly dissapointed. I didn't expect it to be great, but there are small expectations and common courtesies all hotels and B&Bs should adhere to, and this one didn't. Lesa meira
"Rimelig og trivelig B&B på Manhattan"
Dette er en tradisjonell boligbygning som er gjort om til bed & breakfast, noe som blant annet innebærer at tre rom deler bad i hver etasje. Det betyr at det kan hende at badet er opptatt når man selv vil bruke det, men vi opplevde aldri noe køproblem. Rommet vårt var praktisk utstyrt med alt det var annonsert at det skulle ha + en del ting til. Ikke […] over/gjennomdesignet, men praktisk. Ypperlig renhold. Alt teknisk/praktisk fungerte som det skulle, med unntak av WiFi på rommet (men det skulle visst fikses, og det fungerte nede i resepsjonen). Fredelig boliggate, noen få minutter å gå til subway, litt boligområdepreg på funksjonene langs avenuen på vei til subway (barneskole, supermarked og andre lokale forretninger, kirke, lokale spisesteder osv), ikke veldig spennende shopping eller sydende natte/uteliv. Området/gatene opplevdes som trygge og hyggelige med mange gamle og unge som er ute og går, både grytidlig og ganske sent. Mye gamle mennesker er ute og lufter hunden sin sent og tidlig. Enkelte bygninger langs Malcom X Bd står tomme med plater foran vinduene. Første kvelden gikk vi oss litt bort (tok feil av hvor vi bodde i forhold til subway og gikk lang omvei østover), der var gatelivet annerledes, med enkelte litt øde gater og her og der grupper av menn som sto og hang på gatehjørner osv. Da vi bodde her, betalte vi under en tredjedel av hva vi måtte ha betalt for et dobbelrom med enkel standard downtown. Lesa meira
