Hotel Klettur er í Reykjavík. Höfði, Hallgrímskirkja og Perlan eru skammt frá. Ráðhús Reykjavíkur og Þjóðminjasafn Íslands eru einnig í nágrenninu.

Á staðnum, sem er hótel, er bar/setustofa. Ókeypis morgunverður er borinn fram á hverjum morgni. Internetaðgangur, þráðlaus og um snúru, er ókeypis á opnum svæðum. Í boði eru aðstoð við miða-/ferðakaup og gjaldmiðlaskipti ef gestir ráðfæra sig við starfsfólk. Á hótelinu eru meðal annars starfsfólk sem talar mörg tungumál og lyfta. Það er flugvallarrúta báðar leiðir samkvæmt áætlun gegn gjaldi. Bílastæði eru ókeypis fyrir hótelgesti. Þetta er reyklaust hótel. (Mögulegt er að sektum verði beitt ef reglur eru brotnar). Hótelið var endurnýjað að fullu og lauk framkvæmdunum í maí 2011.
Herbergi:
Á Hotel Klettur eru 86 herbergi og í þeim eru öryggishólf (nógu stór fyrir fartölvur) og hárblásarar. Gestir geta notað ókeypis háhraðanettengingu um snúru í herbergjum. 26-tommu sjónvörp með vökvakristalskjám (LCD) með gervihnattarásum eru á herbergjum. Á baðherbergjum eru sturtur með lausum sturtuhausum.
Þrif eru í boði daglega. Öll herbergi á Hotel Klettur eru reyklaus.

New hotel in a calm but still central location, just a 5min walk to the main shopping street. Service minded staff and nice breakfast. Sea view and well isolated rooms, almost to quiet! :)

Brand new small hotel. Very quiet and clean. good view. Great beds and breakfast, Muesli. We stayed for 6 days during a snow storm, so we took taxis most of the time. It seemed like a long walk to town because of Ice and snow. We loved the hotel except for one problem..... There is really NO Wireless INTERNET ! SO, if you have an i-pad, i-phone, etc. […] ....You can sometimes get internet if you stand in front of the reception desk. I don't understand why a brand new hotel would not have wireless internet. "Nordic style in Reykjavik"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our weekend trip to Iceland. The hotel is located at short walking distance (10-15 min) to the town center, in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel is new and very clean, following nordic minimalistic style. The reception was very helpful, making reservations to restaurants and day trips as well as changing some money. […] The room was also just as minimal in decorations (which I like) with beds that had the warmest covers I have ever slept in. TV with a selection of channels in english/german/french. The breakfast buffé offered a cold selection food, not overwhelming but filling our bellies for the morning. My only complaint is that Wi-Fi is only accessible in the lobby (internet by cable available in the room, but pointless for surfing on my cellphone.) Lesa meira
"Great stay for the price"
The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room itself was very clean and large for European standards. Breakfast was standard by European means, deli meats, cheeses, fruits, etc. The location is near the end of the main strip but the walk is pleasant, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get downtown and is very easy to navigate. Lovely clean modern hotel. Breakfast very adequate served in breakfast room.Receptionist very very helpful in organising excursions with Reykajavik excursions who were very well organised with pick up at hotel Easy to walk into centre.Would throughly recommend. Only downside was that we did not see the Northern Lights
Happy that we chose Hotel Klettur for our stay in Reykjavík. Just a side street from the main street Laugavegur and right above the main bus station Hlemmur. It's a quite street so there was no distracting sounds from outside. The interior design felt very nordic and calm and the beds were really nice. It is only a few meters to the Laugavegur. A supermarket and an ATM is even closer. The area around the hotel seems to be an inactive building site in fall 2011. "Hotel Klettur - convenient to everything"
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. We got in at around 8 am and check in was at 2-3pm but they let us in early as the room was already prepared. The location is very convenient to everything. Very quiet at night. Very clean inside and modern. I would come back here again.
"Spartan but Stylish"
Located just beyond the edge of the city center, everything is still within 20 minutes walking distance. The price was under a little below the average for its class. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient, if overworked. The breakfast was good, but not great. You had better get there early, as items run out.

This hotel was so new that the airport shuttle didn't know about it! (They did, by the time we left). The neighborhood isn't 'fancy', but okay. Good value, excellent friendly staff. One suggestion: please stock some 'beer snacks' at the bar to go with the Icelandic beer selections.

"Hotel Klettur-brand new modern yet sweet and homey"
I was staying at Klettur for 10 days. The building and interior are brand new, I believe completed in May. The decor and architecture are very trendy and modern but somehow they have a really homey feel. I felt like I was in my own bedroom and the downstairs bar was my rec room. Included in the room is a wonderful continental buffet breakfast in a well […] light clean space with modern tables. A highlight of the day. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to help us out with any questions and directions. We had a great view of the fireworks out our back hallway. Also a plus. There is free parking across the street. And it's an easy walk to downtown for shopping and dining. I would definately visit Iceland again but only if I can stay at Klettur. Fantastic! Oh the only downside is the wifi isn't very strong in the rooms. Best in the lobby and downstairs areas. Lesa meira
"Sparkling new hotel"
This hotel was lovely and the staff was great. It's about a 10 minute walk to the center of Reykjavik, and felt completely safe.
"New hotel: pleasant but be prepared to walk a bit"
The hotel was only opened in 2011 so we had little by way of previous reviews to make a judgement on booking. Other reviews stated that the town centre could be very busy especially at weekends and since we are an older couple, our sleep is more important than partying. The hote is close to Laugavegur, one of the main streets but at the quiet end of […] it so we had a fair walk to reach the busy end where most of the restaurants/cafes/shops/attractions are. This ensured a peaceful night's sleep and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The slight downside was the walk to eat or stroll in the evenings- perhaps not a problem for some but it was for me as I'd hurt my knee just before going to Iceland and the 20-25 minute walk each morning/evening were more than I would have liked. The hotel is however very close (3 minutes walk) from Hlemmur bus station and local buses could be used to get to certain attractions such as the Botanic Gardens. It's worth getting a day pass as this costs the same as one return ticket (one journey is the same price no matter the distance) and was around £4 each. Hotel Klettur offered a good cold breakfast buffet and staff were pleasant. We paid for the superior rooms on the top 2 floors (of 6) so we had a bit of a view and would do the same again if we returned. Overall, good value and a pleasant experience but be prepared for the walking distances if that is a relevant factor! Lesa meira
"Great start"
This a brand new hotel. The hotel is beautifully done and the staff is top notch. The few things i would suggest are filling out the breakfast menu slightly (minor issue) and please put an alarm clock and more clothes storage in each room. I am guessing the management background is more a business hotel but, I think there will be more tourists at this […] hotel and there just aren't enough drawers or hangers in the rooms. Also, the small bar is world class but Polar on tap when they have all these wonderful beers to chose from? I view Polar as the Miller Lite of Iceland! Would I stay there again? Absolutely.. Ett nytt fräscht hotell med bra läge, gångavstånd till centrum, restauranger och butiker. Bra pris för dubbelrum med frukostbuffé och en fantastisk service dygnet runt. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal som underlättar för ditt besök på Island. Rekommenderas varmt på alla sätt och hotellet förtjänar mer än tre stjärnor!
"Hotel Klettur 大変満足です"
シングルで予約しましたが、部屋はツインでかなり広かったです。深夜のチェックインでしたが、受付の対応も好感が持てました。 朝食のレストランもすごくおちついた雰囲気で、ゆっくりと朝食をとることができました。食事の内容は、一通り揃ってはいますが、種類はそんなに多くはないです。ただ、朝食なので、私には十分な内容ででした。 繁華街のはずれにあるため、街の騒音も少ないです。ホテル周辺にはピザやタイ料理のレストランしかないようで、アイスランド料理やシーフード料理を食べるためには5～10分程度歩く必要がありますが、そこまで苦にはなりませんでした。 近くに23時まで開いているスーパーがあり、夜食や出発日早朝の朝食の買い物ができ便利です。 機会があれば、また利用したいと思います。

Hotellet ligger ikke midt i Reykjavik sentrum, men det er ikke langt å gå til handlegater og severdigheter. Hotellet ligger også like ved bussterminalen i Reykjavik med bussavganger til hele byen. Nytt hotell, flotte rom med gode senger. Ganske stille og rolig beliggenhet, hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Gratis trådløst Internett i lobbyen, […] men ikke på rommene. Grei frokost med brød og pålegg, men ikke varm mat. Til den prisen jeg betalte var dette en veldig fin helg. Hotell Klettur kan anbefales. Lesa meira

"Hotell Klettur"
Dette er et nytt og fint hotell, med pene rom og gode senger. Men , det har ikke varmekabler på badegulvet, og det blir kaldt i Reykjavik! Ellers var det en svært sparsommelig frokost; altfor sparsommelig for et 4 stjernes hotell. Vi fikk heller ikke nye såper el nye glass i løpet av 5 netter. Det er for dårlig. Er hotellet i ferd med å gå konkurs?

Plus: clean basic room, nice and helpful staff at the desk, (empty) minibar so you can buy drinks at the supermarket yourself and store them properly, parking space availability. Minus: internet in the room was never working, bar is in the basement and has no staff (or visitors, for that matter), breakfast very basic for the price range of the hotel, […] not much of a view, the cleaning lady was a bit sloppy. The hotel itself is about 20 minutes walking to the center, but it's an easy walk (and ten minutes is through the main shopping street, so you are already 'in the center' then). Lesa meira

Hotel Klettur is a very nice and cosy hotel - located at the end of the famous shopping street and with about 25 minuttes walk to the Pearl (restaurant). The rooms are not big but still they are nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is quiet new and has a beautiful design inside. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful with all the information […] that you need to know about Reykjavik. A VERY good hotel for a low budget! We would definitely stay here again. "Sentrumsnært i Reykjavik"
Bra beliggenhet ,sentrumsnært,hjelpsom resepsjon,rent og ryddig overalt! Enkel frokost,men ok. Kan godt anbefales!
Nybyggt hotell med fantastiska sängar och en mycket bra frukost. Det enda vi saknade var badkar och/eller pool på hotellet.
Siisti rauhallinen hotelli. Sopiva sijainti. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Aamiaispöytä monipuolinen, Kalustus hiukan niukka, olisi kaivannut toista nojatuolia.

Helt nyoppusset hotell. Det var rent og ordentlig. Resepsjonistene var meget hjelpsomme, har faktisk aldri vært på et hotell med så serviceinstilte resepsjonister! Et lite minus var at det ofte var tomt for div i frokostbuffeten, men de fikset opp med en gang vi sa fra. Jeg anbefaler hotell Klettur på det varmeste :)

Rent og pent hotell,hyggelig betjening.Grei belgenhet,kort avstand til butikker og spisesteder. Grei frokost,men noen treg oppfylling av mat/drikke når det var mange folk.(Barnesykdom? Hotellet åpnet i juni). Ved avreise fikk vi frokost klokken fire om morgenen,kjempe service.
