The hotel was very nice. Room was very clean, as well as hallways and lobby / breakfast area. The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, good selection of breakfast foods. The pool was nice, as was the hot tub. The pool needs the upper layer of tiles at the waters edge to be cleaned. Nce pool and fitness center. Good breakfast buffet and very nice seating area for it. Not many very interesting restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner, but passable.

Compared to a previous stay, this 2 day Hampton Inn experience was a disappointed. The first night, the bathroom had a strong cigarette smell.The remote to the TV did not work. I reported it to two different desk clerks and as assured someone would check it out. No one ever did. I have stayed at this location before. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast buffet is excellent, with eggs, fruit, and waffles available. During the rest of the day there is coffee and a variety of teas available as well.

I loved this hotel. The hotel and our room was very clean. The staff was so nice. The only complaint I have is the bed was too hard. But other then that it was a great hotel to stay. I would definately stay here again and recommend this hotel!

We were in the midst of a snowstorm the car broke down prior to our arrival and I fixed it in the snow. My wife and I were cold, wet,dirty and frustrated. When we arrived at the Hampon inn we were welcomed by the warmest attitude we had ever seen in a hotel by the clerks. They immediately calmed us and gave us a sensation of actual caring. Beautiful hotel, excellent staff. Very close to nearby attractions and casino, with free shuttle running 24 hours a day every 15 minutes or so. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.

It was your average Hampton Inn. No fridge in the king standard room. Bed was too firm to be comfortable. Clean enough. I found the best thing here was the staff, all very friendly, pleasant, competent. I'll check out other options next trip.

First time staying at this particular hotel. Very nice appearance, staff was friendly. Easy parking our vehicle. Our room was very nice, clean , everything in place. We took the shuttle available to the casino and it was easy. The only problem we had was be aware of room 127 which was our room because about 3-4 in the am the staff start getting breakfast […] ready and the room is next to the kitchen and it was very noisy! This was absolutely the best stay we have had anywhere. We will always stay only at the Hampton. Our second day of our trip we stayed at another hotel and even though the cost was the same the difference was overwhelming. I now understand why our son in law stays only at Hamptons when he travels for his job. This is top quallity.

No flaws. Very Clean, Very nice staff. The rooms are of good size and beds were comfortable. The location of the hotel is also clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the free shuttle to and from the track!

This hotel was very nice but we booked this trip at the last minute so all rooms were sold out except smoking rooms. The smell in the room was horrible and windows cannot be opened to air it out. Otherwise the hotel was good, rooms were nice, bathrooms are awesome, breakfast was good and the pool area nice and relaxing. So we will definitely be back […] but in a non-smoking room. Lesa meira

My husband and I stayed here for our 25 anniversary on 7/20-21/12. We had never been to Charlestown before and was very pleased with the hotel service and cleanliness. The shuttle bus was very convenient and free. We would definately stay here again.

The hotel was new and extremely clean. The staff was very friendly and made an effort to get to know us while we were there for 2 days. The room was comfortable and the hot breakfast was great. Shuttle service to and from the casino/race track made the stay even easier. Nice hotel but really overpriced for what you get. Small indoor pool. Nice hot tub and small workout room. Room was clean and hotel seemed newer. Okay but you should get more in West Virginia - it's not DC.
