The Seaview Hotel – Birchington

This was billed on the website as a hotel. However,it is in fact a brewery pub. Nothing wrong with that as we have had some very pleasant evenings in pub accommodation. This pub,though puts the wants of its local residents first with minimum consideration for the needs of it's paying visitors. Effectively we paid £65 to be kept up to 2·30 in the morning […] by a private party for the landlady's birthday. Our bedroom was directly above the band and follow on DJ. It was clear that there were empty rooms in the establishment but no effort had been made to place us in a quieter position. The pub really shouldn't be advertising themselves as an accommodation provider on dates when they know they are going to be keeping their guests awake long past closing time. A poor example of customer service which I resent having had to pay for! Lesa meira

Stayed here Valentines night as we wanted to try a local restaurant. Greeted with a smile from Kim the Landlady who then showed us to our room which was very clean and cosy with an en-suite shower. Excellent wifi which is always an added bonus. We went downstairs to the bar for a drink before going out to eat. Steve the Landlord was very friendly as […] was everyone else in the pub. Was not advised that the doors would be locked until 6pm so had to ring to be let in. Very noisy from the bar until 12 midnight. Ideally situated for all of Birchington

we went just for a couple of nights, the place was easy to find but free parking is slightly hard to find. the owners were really helpful and lovely. the room was big with a very comfortable bed and lots of storage room. however the the shower was a bit to be desired. the pub is about 30 mins away from canterbury so if you wanted somewhere to go for […] dinner try broadstairs as it is only 10mins down the road and has several restuarants, the best one was called possilipo, a family run italian, all fresh and very good value for money. after dinner we went back to the pub for a drink where we chatted to the locals who were really nice and played darts and pool. overall a lovely little get away:-) Lesa meira

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the owners were most helpful and friendly, only too pleased to help in any way.the room and all facilities were very good. Unfortunately the information on the web site wasn't correct, so this needs to be corrected by the site, not the fault of the owners, they hope this will be rectified. Owner went above and beyond to fix an error made by Hotels.com. Very comfortable rooms. Clean and well furnished. Easy access to highways/motorways. Great place to stay when visiting Reculver/Ramsgate/Canterbury/Dover area. Highest praise for this facility.

Wir sind von diesem Hotel wirklich sehr begeistert, es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt alle waren wirklich ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer verspühen einen gewissen Charm. Etwas Schade ist es das man im Hotel nicht zu Abend essen kann, aber durch die gute Lage ist es nicht schwer etwas passendes zu finden.
