Gazelle Hotel – Menai Bridge

This hotel is right on the water, a beautiful setting. It's like a private house that's been fitted for guests. The room was comfortable and clean, but the bathroom needed a little fixing up. Everything worked, however. Internet iffy in the room, but available in the downstairs rooms. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant served a very nice dinner […] and breakfast. Room was too cold and the whole hotel could do with being kept warmer. There was no hot water freely through the bathroom tap which made it uncomfortable to have a shave. TV was temporermental and didn't work most times. No disabled access.

Very impressed with the hotel and location. Wifi could be upgraded in rooms. Excellent service from all the staff.

Friendly staff. Room was a bit cold, but comfortable. Wardrobe was cumbersome. WiFi in the room would have been nice. Beautiful views!

Food was excellent, and views across to Bangor and the Menai Bridge from our bed were spectacular. Will stay here again and again!!!!

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is fabulous with amazing views over the water. The bar area is nice and cosy. My room was very clean. I had a single and it was very small however. The TV was very small and made a high pitched buzzing noise the whole time it was on and the small desk was not really suitable for anyone travelling […] on business, however I don't suppose this is an issue for the majority of people staying here. Small hotel situated on Menai Straits - can walk into the sea from the jetty (should you so wish). Snug type atmosphere with helpful manager and friendly younger staff. Good small bar and restaurant all with views of sea. Good food and beer. Will stay there again.

All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Chris is a very welcoming host, we truely felt as though we had known him for years. Once the rooms have been upgraded the Gazelle will be a gem.

The Gazelle is located in a beautiful spot on the Menai Straits. we enjoyed sittting eating a superb breakfast while looking over the Straits and the mountains of Snowdonia.The food was excellent and the staff very friendly & helpful. In an ideal worls we would have liked a slightly larger room but it was functional, clean and once again had wonderful […] views. The location of the hotel is fabulous. On the shores of the Menai Strait. The owners and the staff could not be more helpful. The menu is great and if you get the chance ask for a table with a view through the picture window of the main restaurant. I loved the place.
