A couple of nights away that we really enjoyed. This is a very small BB with 9 rooms a fantastic bar area and a nice sized room to eat breakfast and tea... in. The staff there, Claire and Anthony especially were fantastic. So nice and friendly and would do anything you asked of them. We stayed in room 1 which is a lovely size and gorgeous views, so quiet. Not sure what the other rooms were like.If you want a nice quiet BB in the lakes then I would certainly recommend it. 5-10 mins drive to Keswick just ideal. As there has to be a negative in all reviews I would say it was the cost of the drinks and food. They do offer a small discount but I think they make up for that with the original price. The price is not comparable to prices in town, with it being much more expensive. ALthough saying that we did have a meal at the BB both nights and was really nice and did not mind too much paying the price as we could relax in the bar area afterwards.
