"Gott hótel á frábærum stað."
Metið af Omar E frá "Garðabaer, Iceland" þann 25. ágú. 2011Hótelið er frábærlega staðsett í hjarta miðbæjarins og stendur við göngugötu þar sem mannlífið iðar, með verslunum og veitingastöðum. Þrátt fyrir það eru herbergin þannig staðsett að þegar inn á þau er komið heyrist lítill sem enginn hávaði frá götu. Herbergið var með skandinavísku yfirbragði, smekklegt, þægilegt og þrifalegt. Mikill kostur var að hafa kælingu í herberginu enda heitt í veðri (35-37°C). Þá var minibar á herberginu og ólíkt því sem maður á oft að venjast þá var verð á því sem þar var að finna mjög hófstillt. Þjónustan var mjög fín og starfsfólkið bæði hjálplegt og elskulegt. Aðstoðaði m.a. við að panta "Airport Shuttle Bus", benti á spennandi staði (og veitingastaði) og aðstoðaði við að finna þessa staði á korti. Það starfsfólk sem ég átti samskipti við talaði allt ágæta ensku, sem er ekki sjálfgefið í Búdapest (og enn síður þegar komið er út fyrir borgina). Get varla nefnt neitt neikvætt um þetta hótel en ef ég rembist við að reyna að tiltaka eitthvað þá hefði gjarnan mátt vera boðið upp á fleiri erlendar sjónvarpsstöðvar (var einungis BBC) ekki síst þar sem allt sjónvarpsefni í Ungverjalandi er talsett og því hefur maður ekki hugmynd um hvað verið er að tala um. Jafnframt hefði morgunmaturinn, sem var innifalinn, mátt vera meira spennandi. Brauð og þess háttar var frekar þurrt og eins og hálfstaðið en þessa reynslu hef ég reyndar frá mörgum öðrum hótelum í Evrópu og get því vart sagt að þetta sé stór mínus fyrir Promenade hótelið sérstaklega. Heilt yfir - mæli eindregið með hótelinu - frábærlega staðsett og "worth every penny". :-)

"great stay, fantastic apartment and great location"
We visited for the week before Easter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is really spacious and clean. We had nothing but good things to say about our room (the "Arabian Nights" double). Paulo, the owner, was really helpful. He told ua about some good places for food and drinks as well as the sights. He also put us in contact with his neighbour […] Sophie who helped organise a day at the thermal spa and an evening river cruise with drinks. She came to the apartment twice for us and was very helpful, not at all pushy about getting us to book anything. I'd recommend both activities, particularly the spa. The apartment was round the corner from some nice restuarants. We ate at Menza twice which isn't something I would usually do in such a short stay but it was so tasty we couldn't resist going back. The apartment is lovely. We hardly used the kitchen but it was good to have a fridge and kettle, glasses, mugs etc. For a longer stay where you might want to make your own breakfast or lunch it would be really handy. We ate breakfast at the orange fronted bakery opposite once as well as some other similar places (a pastry and a coffee was about £1.50) so we didn't feel the need to make breakfast in the apartment. We didn't get the hop on hop off bus passes because we were happy to walk around and I found the apartment really well positioned for everything we wanted to see and do. "Perfect!"
It couldn't have been any better. Before we arrived I exchanged several e-mails with Paulo and Orsi, who were both very helpful and informative. At the train station Paulo advised us how much to barter for a taxi, and came to meet us ata the apartment quite late in the evening- 10pm. We stayed in the triple occupancy and it was very spacious, the decor […] was beautiful and it was well equipped. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from bars, restaurants and main sights of the city. The next day our flight wasn't until the evening, so Paulo allowed us to keep our bags in the room all day. He came back to meet us there before we got out taxi to the airport- which he arranged for us. To sum up- incredibly cheap, brilliant location, beautiful and spacious inside, and wonderful service. "Great location, five star apartments"
This is a great option instead of a hotel, me and my boyfriend stayed here last weekend, 22-24 feb. The apartment is great, with under floor heating and in built radio in the bathroom, full kitchen, comfy bed and great style. It's close to the main bus stop stop for all the hop on hop off buses and also a strip of restaurants is a two minute walk. Sofia […] and Paulo were very helpful and assisted us with arranging taxis for a good price, and also advising on tours and how not to get ripped off! These apartments are a fantastic find in Budapest. They are within an old style building but have been renovated to a fantastic spec. We felt like we were getting a real old style Budapest city experience, with all our luxurious comforts. Great facilities within the apartment; well equipped kitchen, gorgeous bathroom, lovely high ceilings in a spacious […] room. Excellent location - transport links all close and lots of sight seeing by foot close by too. There are lots of bars, restaurants, shops etc in the surrounding area. The owner Paulo met us when we arrived and was very helpful, giving us great tips on the local restaurants, bars and general getting around. The owner Paulo was very nice with us and the place was very spacious and clean. We were only unlucky there were some workings at the street beside the appartment and couldn't sleep much. Lovely apartment with all the necessary facilities. Was pleasantly surprised as the accomodation had been well within our limited budget, it worked out the same, or even cheaper, as staying in a hostel. It was clean, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped. Nothing was lacking and it was pleasant to cook and drink there before going out on […] an evening. Apartment was well located for transport links, metro and tram being close by. It was also close to all the sight (walking usually) but far enough from the heart of the Jewish Quarter to not be noisey at night. Was contacted prior to my stay by the property manager and he was available on arrival, and provided lots of very useful information. Good local amenities in terms of shops, bars and restaurants. Absolutely fantastic find and would definitely recommend to any groups planning a trip to Budapest. The only negative was that the shower head didnt stay in its wall bracket properly. For the money, you can't beat this place. The room was more than we expected, plenty of space, and even a small kitchen. The location was great which is important in a big city like Budapest, and right on the Metro so it was easy to get around. "Överträffade alla förväntningar!"
Vi anlände en fredag runt lunch och hade blivit ombedda att ringa innan, då detta hotell är fristående lägenheter utan reception. Vi blev visade till lägenheten, som överträffade alla förväntningar: högt i tak, fint inrett, stort och luftigt. Väl där fick vi en karta och en genomgång över staden, med tips på sightseeing, transport, shopping, restauranger […] och utställen i vår smak. Och en försäkran om att det bara var att ringa om vi undrade något. När vi åkte hemåt igen hade vi fått hjälp att förebeställa taxi och påväg till flygplatsen kunde vi lyckligt konstatera att vi fått förstklassig service, otroligt fint rum med närhet till allt man kan önska sig, trygghet i att kunna höra av sig när som helst och bra tips på både mat och saker att se, dessutom till ett nästan obegripligt lågt pris. "Luxe appartement"
We hebben met veel plezier een nacht doorgebracht in dit appartement. Het appartement bevindt zich in een appartementencomplex in een levendig deel van Budapest. Het is dus geen hotel, maar je huurt een luxe kamer in een complex. Je hebt dus geen medewerkers waar je een beroep op kunt doen. Wel is de eigenaar dag en nacht bereikbaar indien nodig. Wij […] vonden dit zelf prima op deze manier, juist omdat je dan meer tussen de lokale bevolking veblijft. Hierna verbleven we nog twee nachten in een 5-sterren hotel, maar we hadden spijt dat we niet langer zijn gebleven in dit appartement. Misschien volgend jaar weer! "Davvero ottimo per visitare la stupenda Budapest"
Appartamento bellissimo e pulito, oltre che allarmato e senza vincoli di orari (ci è stata fornita una chiave elettronica). La posizione è perfetta:centrale e ben collegata ai mezzi pubblici. Il gestore dell'appartamento è molto cortese e disponibile (ci ha fornito una mappa, illustrato i posti da visitare e consigliato i posti in cui mangiare!)Ósvikin umsögn gesta á Expedia

Het was allemaal heel netjes in het appartement en de locatie was echt perfect. Het meeste kun je met de tram of metro doen en ook lopend kom je heel ver. Er staat ook dat er een poolbar is, maar dat is er niet. Het is een prive eigenaar die 3 appartementen heeft gemaakt, zien er netjes uit en de prijs kwaliteitsverhouding is goed..Ósvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

"Awesome location"
Located on the pest side of Budapest, this place have a great central location in Budapest. Across the street you have both a small store that's open 24/7 and Starbucks. Lot's of nice restaurants close by and everything in general within reach. When we first got to Budapest we took a shuttle service from the airport to the apartment. When we got there, […] the landlord Paulo came to meet us. He's a very friendly guy that showed us around in the apartment and explained everything we needed to know. He also gave us great tips on what to do on our visit there, and told us to call him if there was something we needed (Thank you Paulo!) The apartment lacked aircondition and only had a fan so it was pretty hot in there. We had our windows opened most of the time we were inside. Which can be a little annoying at night where you heard quite alot of traffic noices and sirens from the street outside if you are easily disturbed. This was not an issue for us thou. We bought tickets for the hop-on-hop-off busses in Budapest which was really cheap and an easy way to get around when your legs got tired. "Weird place, weird staff"
Looks like a hotel you would rent by the hour to host your secret affair. Nice but tacky and artificial. The "manager" had a weird vibe, coming, going, and showing our room to other people. The bedsheets clearly hadn't been changed but the rest was clean. The building is old and run down. This is NOT A HOTEL so you need to call the guy to open the door […] for you, surely inconvenient when you don't have a local phone or need to use roaming. "Nära till mycket."
Allt ok. Möjlighet att parkera motorcykeln på gården som var låst, ett jätteplus för mig. Rummet väldigt prisvärt.Ósvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

"fint och bra läge"
Rummen var jättestora och mycket fina. Runt hörnet finns ett torg med bra caféer och restauranger. Men det är inget riktigt hotell så bli inte förskräckta när ni kommer dit. Det finns ingen reception eller lobby då hela "hotellet" består av tre stycken rum. Utanför porten finns en skylt med ett nummer man ringer och då kommer ägaren (?) och ger er nyckel […] till rummet. "Lejlighed i hjertet af Budapest"
Virkeligt god lejlighed. Den ligger lige i hjertet af Budapest, og det er absolut mega lækkert. Alt fungere og da vi kom ringede vi bare til nummeret og bum vi fik nøglerne. Alt i alt var vi meget meget tilfredseÓsvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com
