Hotels in Bad Erlach

"This is an ok hotel. The beds are comfortable, the shower good, everywhere is clean. The rooms have balconies, which is a nice addition, and you can really feel 'at one' with the forest.It was so very hot! I got the 3rd degree at check in becase I had travel visas from 5 years ago in my passport, which really ruined my experience. The food was awful. The restaurant closed before its advertised time, even though I had paid for dinner and availability had been checked in advance. There was nothing left at the buffet - not even bread. There was no a la carte option. Breakfast was much better, but all 3 coffee machines broke, the juice machine pumped water with a squirt of coloured luquid, and fruit was - in part - mouldy. Bread, cheese and tomatoes were good as were some very nice warm pastries. There were hot options, but I didn't try these. Overall, not terrible, but certainly not the best hotel I have stayed at."

"The hotel was excellent. Attention to detail was evident both in the room and throughout the entire property, with no faults in any of the room’s facilities. The beds were very comfortable, and the room and corridor had a pleasant fragrance. Breakfast felt refined and healthy. After a long journey driving across Hungary, this hotel was the perfect place to rest. There is also a small but cosy park next to the hotel, featuring a pond and beautiful roses."

"We enjoyed our short vacation there. There are a lot of hiking trails near by. The room was clean and fairly quite, the pool and steam sauna were nice, the mountains view was gorgeous, breakfast and dinner were delicious. I’d like to highlight the top quality service in the restaurant. The staff was amazing. Hope to visit this place again."

"One of the most beautiful cabins we've stayed in during our trip to Austria – just a short drive from Vienna. The cabin is fully equipped and feels just like home. The lake and mountains across from it are some of the most stunning we've seen. The water is clean and pleasant to swim in. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive the check-in instructions in time – make sure to confirm them the day before. Other than that, everything was clean, quiet, and highly recommended. Thank you very much!"

"The property is stunning but the service and overall staff professionalism is very lacking. When we checked in the front desk attendant did not open the door or help with luggage as he saw us struggling to get through the door and there was no offer to help. He simply asked us to fill out a form and gave us 1 key. No welcome, no explanation of the 600-acre property or what was on site. No hours given for the restaurant or spa so we had to come back and get all of that information. Very odd first impression of the property. Throughout the stay, we had to continue asking for things like robes or for the steam/sauna to be turned on (even though the spa hours are 7am-10pm, apparently those treatment rooms are only turned on from 4pm-10pm which seems odd). Also, no one services the spa all day so at one point there were no more towels (and we again had to go back to the front desk and ask for towels). "
