Very positive experience and good value for money. Not a “high end” inn - linens and towels are lower quality, no fancy toiletries , but very clean friendly place. Rooms a bit older and worn (chips in wood and doors etc) Loved the free breakfast - not just breads but also hard boiled eggs yogurts , many whole fruits in a nice breakfast room. Pretty location on a body of water. Nice views from room. Very short drive to downtown Lee , 10 min to Stockbridge

Thanksgiving Family Stay
My one-night holiday stay was comfortable and relaxing in the King Superior Room with the nice gas fireplace. This was indeed a great place to de-stress from the holiday mayhem. (smile). Having a winter lakeview while having breakfast is always a great treat!

Black Swan
We booked this place for a one-night stay to check out the Berkshires. This was pretty much centrally located from everything we wanted to visit. We chose this place for the country feel rather than the big city type hotels. The place was a little outdated but had the more of a home feel. There is some updating due there, but it wasn't a disappointment. We will book again when we visit the area to go hiking. Plus, the lake view was ok, and the water looked very clean. I will say this is an excellent spot if you're an outdoor person for fishing. Kayaking etc.

The room and property was clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast with a great view of the lake. There is a restaurant on the premises that served Indian cuisine. We did not have enough time to have dinner there but it did smell good.

There's so much to like about the Black Swan Inn. It's located in a scenic area that's convenient to theaters, shopping, museums... just about everything beautiful Berkshire County has to offer. My companion and I shared a room with a glorious lakeside view and a balcony. (Note that not all rooms have a lakeside view.) The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant within the hotel, Mint, serves superb Indian cuisine. Mint is very popular, so it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance. I only have one complaint about the Black Swan Inn: it's noisy. From our room, day and night, we heard loud conversation from the hall, as well as every step made by the occupant in the room above ours. I wish their walls weren't quite as thin.
