8/10 Very good

It’s cheap compared to most hotels and it’s a decent place to stay for the money you pay

Stay here often, always pleasant experience for me

8/10 Very good

Rooms were very clean and adorable. Check in was smooth and property is conveniently located off the highway. Only issue was that the shower flow was super slow, and water never warmed up.

Charming affordable place that checks all boxes

Window was stuck open and floors were squeaky but there was good space and it was a comfortable and affordable stay. Lots of do it yourself handyman fixes but that gives it some charm. The TV was easy to cast to, it had a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Horrible experience. Room had no heat. TV was internet based and buffered non-stop. Manager had a cook-out with other residents outside my room, including music. Deadbolt lock on room door was very unsecure. A hard kick could have opened the door. I can’t say it enough- don’t stay here!

Hot water is room temperature. Heater doesn’t work in room 12( it’s going to get to 34 degrees at night) pretty much stuff everywhere on the property and felt like i was going to fall through the deck when i stepped onto it. Definitely worth driving another 20 miles to a different location. Not staying here again
Amos, 1-night trip

Everything was fine here. The only thing we found creepy was that none of the staff greeted us. When I contacted the staff, we were informed that our room was open with the keys on the table, which we found unsettling. Other than that, it was satisfactory.
Ramon, 1-night trip

Worst place I have ever stayed

2/10 Poor

"No frills" stay

The room was clean enough, but there were no extras...Kleenex, wash cloths, etc. Lighting in the bathroom was bad. There was NO heat or way to warm up the room. It was 47 degrees, and I was so cold.
Mary, 1-night trip

The first room the door handle was literally held on with tape!!! No TV. Second room no TV They must have an employee appreciation party every weekend. Never be back.

OK for the money.

The room was large with apartment size fridge and very comfortable beds. The bathroom window would not close all the way and the floor was very creaky. Poor lighting, too bright in the main part of the room and barely any light in the kitchen alcove.

8/10 Very good

Its an older property but clean. Communication is a definite issue and they are not easy to get a hold of. All in all, great value.
Mike, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Not a good place to stay.

The pictures on Hotels.com are deceiving. This hotel/motel is old. The room was not clean. There were bugs in the window sill. Windows were dirty. The bathroom window did not close. Very little if any water pressure especially the hot water. The bathroom shower walls and floor looked as those it had not been clean. There were nails from the flooring sticking out of the floor. There was also no internet available for the television. I suppose you get what you pay for however, this was beyond normal expectations. I wish I had taken some photos of the condition of the room. If I had some where else to stay, I would have just left and gone elsewhere. I do not recommend staying here ever!

After night one, my socks and feet bottoms were black. WiFi and TV would not connect. Shower was ridiculous. Might have helped if she could speak even one word of English. Horrible experience.
Timothy, 3-night trip

Could not find anyone to check in for 20 minutes. When did bad language barrier. Was charged more than expedia said. Room was dirty, outdated, grounds were awful. People live there so made me as a woman feel unsafe. Room was u clean, coffee pot dirty, remote had globs of something gross on it. Floor made white socks black. Bathroom window stuck open bathroom floor had chunks of drywall on floor, bottle of bleach left on bathroom floor. No wash clothes or hand towels. Just 3 big towels. Could not find anyone in the 2 nights there to discuss discrepancy in price. Do not stay here.
Jodi, 2-night trip

What as disaster

I have no words, the room was nothing like the pictures, construction mess everywhere TV didn’t work air conditioner smelled moldy I could go on..

First of all, THIS property is not a public MOTEL. The Wisconsin Wood INN (across the street, different address)is the one that travelers stay in (also listed on Orbitz but a different address) and is in fact where our rooms are. That said, the check in process is very concerning. The person behind the counter (limited English speaking) makes a photo copy of your drivers license and credit card, had you sign the BLANK paper below that copy, then places it in a file folder that sits on the counter for anyone to access. This is despite having provided CC when booking the stay. I will be checking with my CC company to make sure my card has not been used since that day. The room itself was fine for the price. Door knob was cheep. This particular site should NOT be issued on Orbitz.
