Clean But a Little Bit of Odor from the Carpet

Clean but a little bit of odor from the carpet. The rooms are very spacious. The bed was comfortable.

Don’t go stay here

Never checked in call talked to someone and they said they will call me back never did. Had a ticket to an event and they never called me back reached out to hotels.com to see about a refund because I did have protection on my purchase….got the run around

Might give it another chance

We had no warm.or hot water for the 3 nights qe stayed and one night the fire alarm went off for a couple hours randomly one night from 1 am to 3am. But clean and away from a big town.

Check in is supposed to be at 3pm

Hotel is old and run down. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm we arrived at 2:30 and the owner said by 3pm you’ll receive your codes. Nothing ever came. We showed up at 10:30pm still hadent received a code and they never answer the phone. I finally got my code at 11pm. Horrible service, horrible spot. The toilet had problems flushing also. Save yourself the headache stay somewhere else.

Very quiet and comfortable. The bed was nicely firm although the pillows were very insubstantial. The check-in process was very smooth once we got the text message at 3:09 pm. We never had to use the U-tech app, so it's unclear why the booking info said it was needed. Because we hadn't heard anything before the text we got after 3 pm, we called and left messages leading up to and after 3 about the check-in process. It all became clear and easy once the text arrived, so receiving a text well before 3 acknowledging the reservation and check-in process with a note that the final instructions will be sent when the room is ready to be occupied would have helped. One other thing to note is that the door leading out to the balcony on the front of the building locks behind you. Fortunately, Mark was onsite and answered our call to open the door and let us back in. The trick is to use the paint stick to keep the door from closing all the way. That allowed us to sit on the balcony and listen to the great live music from the Mei Wah Beer room across the street on Sundays.

Terrible experience here, I did not read the fine print that says stair access only. There are 24 rickety stairs to climb up with a hand railing that feels like it's going to fall apart to a deck that is wobbly and scary. I express my concerns to the number on file and they said they would refund us for the two nights because my elderly father cannot make it up the stairs! Well they played me and I have not gone to refund and Expedia has been unable to reach them we only stayed one night because we could not stay the second night it was too hard to get up and down those stairs and I was still charged for both nights! On top of that the AC is right above your head on the bed. Also a dog barked all night long and a rooster cawed in the morning! Also the restaurant that's supposed to be underneath was closed the entire time we were there I don't think it ever really works or is open. The worst hotel motel experience I have ever had!!!!
Is it abandoned?

Only issue was my room was not ready for my 3:00pm check in time. They did get it ready ASAP, other than that no problems. I would highly recommend this property. I will stay again in the future.

It was unfortunate that I had no access to the reviews until i booked, why, i do not know! ANYWAY, DO NOT STAY HERE FOR ANY REASON! DRIVE TO THE NEXT TOWN!!! The pictures they show in the listing are sooooo misleading! There is no restaurant or bar. (They both have been closed for well over a year or more). There is no lobby or staff. They do not answer the contact phone number or respond to a voicemail message. Access to the rooms is up a back staircase off the main street via access codes. The pool looks like it's out of a horror film. The room we were given had excrement still in the toilet, woman's hairs in the sheets and seaman stains under the quilt. We did manage to get another room via text message only by responding to the text message with the codes. But the replacement room was only better in that it didn't have those things mentioned earlier. Sadly, only 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel, 1 bath towel for two people. We did not use the shower as it did not look clean, and we wanted to leave as soon as possible! The bed had no cushion at all. (felt like a box with coil springs, and you felt every spring!) And all this for way too much a night!!! My cancelation time was 24hrs prior to arrival so I was screwed! Yes, we stayed in the replacement room only because losing the amount of money I paid just doesn't sit well with me! I paid a lot less for much better! Sleeping in my car would have been a better deal! LET ME REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE, DRIVE TO THE NEXT TOWN!

Check in was 3:00. When we arrived to check in the hotel was locked. No one answered the phone. We kept calling until 5:00 with no answer. I then canceled on line. We did get a partial refund which We decided to accept without fighting for the full amount.

Closed for season without any Notice?

We didn’t even stay for the booking. The business was closed until the day of our booking. A cancellation and refund was not possible because they were closed until that exact day. The business would not take any calls. We couldn’t reach out to anyone. The only time we heard anything from them was a confirmation text about the room itself and I still couldn’t get a hold of them afterwards. An absolutely awful way to do business. Would never and will never recommend to anyone.

Sketchy, dated, dirty building

This building and the rooms are very dated. It was stuck in the 80s, decor was old and worn. There were crumbs on my bed when I checked in. The toilet has black stains in the bowl. The hotel was attached to a bar and grill, and there were official notice papers taped to the front door stating that an emergency inspection was required. The whole place was super sketch.

Red Flag!

The place isn't in operation. Nobody was there, nobody answered the phone, and locals laughed when they heard they were taking reservations.

Literally no hot water and the toilet didn't work properly. There was no staff present on a Saturday night so we had to make do. That being said, the bed was good and it's a delightful community and this is the only lodging in town.

We didnt know there was no hotel lobby or anyone at the property to check us in. We went early and were told we had to wait to get a text with the info on how to get in. Was sketchy to go in theough the back door on the balcony. We were then greeted with a live bat flying our of our room. Scary! This is more of an Air b n B than a hotel and should be advertised as auch.

I tried to cancel several times, now it will not allow me to. I was unable to gain access to the property. It was a keyless entry and the code didn't work. There was nobody on site, they did not answer my calls. I had limited communication via text, they said there was am issue with entry keypad and were trying to get someone out there. I got there st 3, and I finally left at 5pm.. nobody ever came and I had to find a place to park and

The price was right. This is a decent place for a quick overnight. We were returning to bay area from a show in delta wine country and didn't want to drive home that night. We weren't dissapointed, you get exactly what you see. Total contactless, wasn't used to that, first experience.
