Premier Hotel Roodevalley is the best of the best

From our Arrival to Departure the service was out of this world, I was there with my lady friends celebrating my 40th Birthday. Breakfast, Dinner, Massage & picnic everything was well organized the staff are friendly and smiling at all times,. They made my weekend extra special loved every minute of the time I have spend the, will be taking my kids for visit soon.

Very disappointed

Checkin was fine. Took just a moment. However, we were disappointed in the room. The aircon did not work well. The internet NEVER worked inside the room, and when we went to notify the front desk of the issues, we discovered that the phone line did not work. I went to the front desk and they promised to send maintenance. They never showed up the whole time we were there. So, it was hot all night, and then discovered there was only one towel for 2 people. Would not recommend this hotel. And when we went to check out, all they said was sorry, and never once asked if there was a way to rectify the situation.

Good family night away

This was a lovely night away for Mother’s Day. There is plenty to do and the kids loved the outdoor jucuzzi. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. Beds wonderful. View brilliant. Downfall was a lack of maintenance. Our hot blanket was missing a plug and on the other double bed hot blanket was stolen. They did send maintenance and did try to help. Dinner was a let down. Food is expensive with little variety. Plated meals would be better. Breakfast was however wonderful

December getaway

The hotel has such lovely amenities, with fantastic scenery to go with it. We had poor service on our first day, we had to complain and make such a scene for things to improve. Hotel was not prepared for the number of guests who had checked in. Previous maintenance issues were not addressed and remained unaddressed when we left. Also prepare to be shortchanged if you're vegetarian or eat halaal food. It's an inconvenience to the chef to cater for you! Really not worth the money you pay for breakfast to be included.

stunning room and very comfortable - clean and with aircon. At first they gave us the wrong room - I had booked an Executive suite with a river view. Had to go back to reception and complain so they corrected it but we still didn't get our river view. Service at the pool could be improved - it was boiling hot and we kept having to walk all the way to the restaurant bar to find a waitress and order our refreshments ourselves.

The level of noise was too high!

I did not get what I expected. I was told that I did not pay while checking in, but I paid when I booked. I was promised that a feedback will be given to me since the system was slow, I left without any feedback. I had a special request for biltong platter, to my surprise I wad given kebabs, no communication before hand.
