Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District, an IHG Hotel

We showed up at the hotel around 4pm to try and check in. There was a long line of irate people already there. Send we were finally waited on we were told our room wasn't ready and they had no idea when it would be. Long story short, we finally got a room at 10:30pm. There was no maid service the four days we were there. We had to empty our own trash and if we needed something, we were on our own.

This hotel has potential, but it is very poorly managed. The check in process was complete chaos, I arrived at 7pm and the room was not ready? Nothing is clean, in fact the public restrooms never had soap. I would not stay here again.

Waited an hour in a very slow long line to check in. Floor in room was dirty. The ice machine on the 4th floor didn’t work. Parking is $28 a day.

Great stay, we were able to get an early check in and a late checkout. The staff was extremely helpful and the location couldn’t be better.

The staff were unfailingly friendly and polite yet largely ineffective. I didn't stay in a hotel so I could repair the toilet, find the toilet roll holder impossible to repair, take out the dirty towels, empty the trash can, clean the sink, clean the toilet and pick up dirt from the floor. I watched to see how long it would take for someone's dirty glasses to be removed from the hallway, and after 5 days had an answer. In an 8 day stay, we had clean sheets on the second night, which was in a different room because the first was unbearably filthy and in an unacceptable state of disrepair. We did have a bathroom mat for our final morning, though it had been stored on a dirty shelf, judging by the dirty mark on the fold. The manager's reaction to my request to speak to him was to ignore me. Ironically, the hotel website emphasizes cleanliness.

Rude staff, didnt disclose the cost of parking at any time. Got double charged for my stay and took 3 days for someone to answer the phone to leave a message with the manager. He was pleasant to deal with and did solve my problem expeditiously.

Very comfortable room and very clean. Services were nonexistent (Covid related). Staff was hit or miss. Dealt with three members one was very nice the others need to find other work.

It was okay for the price. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. The hotel location is great and close to everything. The only issue was mold in the shower, in between tiles and in the track of the shower sliding doors. The coffee maker was broken and had paint spray all over. It looks as if when they repainted they did not cover the coffee maker.
