The room arrangement didn’t allow for the sofa bed to be extended with the doors to the main bedroom open, but it was nice to have two bathrooms in the family suite. The staff was very accommodating in bringing sheets for the sofa bed/towels for the family (there weren’t enough linens in a the start). The bed was comfortable. It was a nice place to stay for a night.

Bed was comfortable. Hotel was clean and desk attendant was very pleasant. Breakfast was good with waffles, toast and muffins, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice, cereal, and yogurt. There were lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. Would stay here again.

However, the hallways to the rooms — including the rugs, walls, and doors — would benefit from a more modern design to create a better overall appearance. You can tell the owners care about the property. It's an old facility, but taken care of. Aside from the sticky floor, our room was clean & comfortable. The pool was perfect for my 7 year old & never anyone else in it. We didn't get down for breakfast before 9am most days, but there seemed to be a nice variety. Lots of shopping & dining supper close by. Try Granite City for a meal - yum! Definitely would stay here again, for the money savings vs other options.

The employees are friendly and helpful. The hotel is musty and is under construction. We had one room remodeled and was a good change. The other was old section and was musty, run down.
