I travel with a service animal. The person checking us on argued with us for 5 mimutes about it being a pet and they dont have any pet rooms and that he couldnt come with. Finally they went to the back to "check" and let us check in.
The hotle is currently under renovation. We had to go through the swimming pool area, which was filled with broken furniture and tvs, with lots of power tools and wood laying around, just to get to the desk. The pool area was dim and unsafe due to nails and screws just loose on the ground. There was no carpet on the floor by the desk in the lobby and you had to make your way around the sticky glue stuff they used.
By the next morning, carpet had been laid but breakfast was lacking. It consisted of bagels, toast, apples, or plain cereal. There was milk (it was icy) and juice. We had to leave the hotel and walk around the building to get to breakfast.
I booked my stay many months ago, when the hotel was under a different company. When i booked, they advertised a pool and hottub. As previously mentioned, those were both completely full. The pool was the reason i selected this hotel compared to any others at the same price. Had i known the pool was no longer open, i would have canceled my reservation and booked elsewhere.
