My room was clean but felt a little outdated. It was comfortable however.
What stood out to me most was the staff members I dealt with. Without exception, everyone was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I did not get any names but I’ll describe the circumstances in the hopes they can be identified and complimented.
I was checking in with my husband who had just had eye surgery. I stopped at the hotel around 1:00 p.m. while he was still at the hospital to see if I could get an early check in. I described the situation to the woman at the desk saying it would be best to go straight to the room. She was extremely friendly and helpful and did what she could to get me checked into a room early, which she did. I feel she went above and beyond.
On our floor, 11, as we were making our way slowly to the room, we encountered two people cleaning rooms. They saw my husband's bandage and us moving slowly and one of them asked for my room key and went to our room to have the door open when we got there. It’s a small thing but it meant a lot and showed true care for us as guests. They were cleaning rooms on the 11th floor around room 1111 at about 2:30 or so on Saturday the 29th if you’re able to identify them.
Finally, I asked for more pillows and a blanket so my husband could sleep in a position recommended by the hospital. The person who delivered them to our door was friendly and pleasant.
Overall, I was very impressed with the staff.
