Nice place, good food. One issue: We had a room with a balcony overlooking the water. During most, maybe all, the hours of darkness, the light was on outside and could not be turned off from the room. I suppose this is to make the hotel look attractive from a distance. However, this means that the view you pay for ends up being obscured by light and reflections. Fat chance of seeing Northern lights when you have light pollution right above your head. AND the hotel makes a big thing about having an eco-conscience and the constant lights you can't turn off rather undermine this (yes, I'm sure they are LEDS - but then so are the ones inside which you are always encouraging us to switch off!) Personally I find all this "we wont wash your towels and we won't clean your room unless you ask' rather insulting. So it kind of makes sense, but do you really think we won't notice that you are also trying to reduce your costs? The leaflet that suggests that we won't 'sleep with a clear conscience' if we ask for too much is going too far, and really a kind of emotional blackmail. Tell head office to back off on this.
