As long as you don’t end up in room 343, the hotel is fabulous (that room is right next to the housekeeping station, with carts going in and out all the time; one of us slept through it, but the other of us barely slept). You’ll note that we still give it a 10 though, because once we moved rooms, the hotel was perfect for us. The location is not only ideal for touristing, and very close to several Christmas markets (our target) as well as transportation, the neighborhood also has a nice feel. Rooms are reasonably sized and very comfortable, breakfast is very good (custom omelets among the offerings), the bar is pretty and pleasant, the staff friendly and helpful. BTW, Mikael Gorbachev and Patrick Dempsey each slept here (you can see their photos in the lobby).
