Pictures of the room is deceiving. Rooms are very small, no room to unpack your luggage. Elevators do not work. Only 1 elevator working the whole time and staff using them constantly. Workers not friendly except for 1 in the bar. You get charged for everything. Even ice. No mini bar, just a fridge. The balcony is just the size of the box with just a tiny view of the ocean. You can’t hear the ocean from the box balcony because the air conditioning compressor is so loud. Check in process was horrible, make sure you are there when they tell you to come back to check in or they will sell your room to someone else for a higher price. No assistance with luggage to get in out of the car to the room. No room service. $20 for a 6oz drink with hardly any alcohol at the pool. Will not be going back to this hotel. No entertainment in pool.
This isn't the first time I've stayed here; however, it was far more crowded this visit. Not that any of this would deter me from returning but there wasn't a dresser, safe or fridge in my room and the bathroom was tiny. I enjoy the pool and the beach but the drinks are waaaaay over priced. Get a cabana. At least that way you are getting something for your money. Ill be back but . . . I won't be happy about how expensive the drinks and food. On the plus side the staff is amicable and extremely helpful.
Bad experience. Paid for a balcony, did not receive. Went to the beach, only 1 chair available. Went to the pool at 4:45 and were told they closed the attendant so no towels. Prepaid $51 extra for breakfast and after being handed the menu, we were told we could only choose from 3 if the items which were priced at 15, 11 or 9 dollars. All items listed were under $17 but because we prepaid $51 we were limited. So essentially we, prepaid more than what breakfast would have been for 2 but not allowed to eat what we wanted. Made zero sense. Dirty shower with leftover hair. And to top it off we had to wait 55 min outside to get out car when departing from the valet- who was nice but overwhelmed. No VIP upgrades. Actually the opposite. Terrible experience.
I got an ocean front with balcony and to be honest very disappointing, the toilet seat didn’t have a lid, there was no mirror in the room besides the one in the bathroom, very poor decoration, very disappointing for the price.
Hotel ok. Spa services did not recognize the $100 off as the website said. Very disappointing. Room was ok not the best in terms of “up to date”. Elevator broke while there however view from the room was good.
Elevators were a joke- took 30 minutes to go 8 floors and no social distancing. Pool also ran out of towels.
The facilities were really good, but
We loved the location and the hotel, however 2 of the 4 elevators were out of order and apparently have been for quite some time causing a mess during busy times, especially with social distancing. Also they only cleaned our room once in 4 nights and that was only after I complained. Gave a vague excuse regarding COVID however never communicated that housekeeping was reduced. They did give us a $135 credit though for our inconvenience.
Felt like a total mexico or south american experience. Everytime you asked for something and i mean anything it was an upcharge. Hotel was super dated and in dire need of a complete remodel and overhaul. Some staff was excellent some was then horrible and completely untrained. Over priced in every way. Would bot go back even if rooma were free.
Only had two working elevators. Staff very good but hotel poorly managed.
