I want to start by saying the staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everyone we encountered was polite and made us feel at home, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience with the hotel itself left much to be desired.
The listing claims the property was remodeled in 2022, but that’s hard to believe based on what we experienced. The elevator was out of service, and we were directed to use a very old, single-person lift that seemed to date back to the early 1900s. Our room, although cozy, did not meet expectations. We booked a King Deluxe but discovered it was simply two twin beds pushed together—one side firm, the other soft, which made for an uncomfortable sleep.
The bathroom was also disappointing. The website shows a bathtub, but our room had a very small, cramped shower. The toilet was awkwardly positioned too close to the wall, forcing us to sit at an angle. One of the balcony doors was painted shut due to fresh paint over the hinges, and there were visible stains on the walls, wrinkles and dust on the wallpaper or fabric, and crooked lamps.
Breakfast was advertised as continental but consisted mostly of bread, cured meats, and boiled eggs—hardly worth the €22 price tag. I would suggest finding food elsewhere, though reservations are needed in advance at nearby spots.
