NYE -awesome!
We were there for NYE celebrations & there were 4 of us. We were very comfortable & the we had lots of room. Only downside was there were socks & beer caps under the bed... not so nice! Otherwise a great place to stay. Very very quiet! Awesome staff too. Gave us directions that led us directly to our pub!!

perfect location
great location for food and bars, walkable area. parking is not connected so that may be a bummer if you do not want to pay valet. staff is great, halls at rooms levels is a bit dated with carpet. overall a solid 8/10.

The hotel is just super dated. Wooden doors, old school a/c and heating boards, green retro carpet, wooden everything, including this massive wooden unit that takes up half the room. And all that's in it is your TV. I would say, stay somewhere else, especially for the price. If this was a hotel that was $100 per night, great deal, but when you pay $160-$250 / night - You expect more. The Valet system here is terrible as well. I would stay at the Hollis or Four points Sheraton. Both are similar price, location is great at all 3, but the other 2 hotels are newer, more modern, and just better. Don't stay here.

Great hotel in Halifax!!!
Great location and walking distance to everything! Lots of great restaurants in the area! The staff at the desk and the staff at the doors were top notch. There is a great walking path to use so if its raining you stay dry. I will definitely be staying at this hotel on my next Halifax visit!!!
