Hotels. Com is a scam.
Not a good experience with hotels.com or the Sonesta. I checked in just before midnight, when I entered in my room the scent deoderizer was very strong. I went sleep right away, when and woke up to entirely different smell of wet dogs. The Sonesta covered up an odor problem by heavily spraying deoderizer. I purchased through hotels. Com along with trip insurance so decided to start a chat with hotels.com to resolve. After they timed out the chat on thier own response twice. I got them to refund two of my three nights. The hotel normally booked an average costof$110.00 per night when I booked hotels .com they charged me 1 night in a room with an odor problem $170...and some change. And refunded the other two nights at the lowest possible rate. I will never book hotels .com or stay at any Sonesta again. Hotels.com attempted to end a chat when they had a problem then price gouged an skated and offers useless trip insurance. Only book through hotel you are staying at. Everything went well for me once I did that.

We were surprised to learn that the hotel usually charges for parking. What a relief when the check in person noted she would wave the parking fee. The overall feel of the hotel was questionable but when we got to our room, we found the room delightful! Nice hotel!

OK, Needs to provide information about its shuttle
This hotel was OK for my purpose, which was to stay near the airport for an early morning flight. This is definitely a no-frills hotel, for example, they had some food for sale in a refrigerator near the reception desk, but no other food. It seem to be set up for longer stays in which A hotel guest would go shopping elsewhere. it was disappointing that the shuttle from the airport to the hotel actually was through a contractor and that there was very little direct contact between hotel and the contractor. The result was that I waited for half an hour not knowing whether the shuttle would actually show up. it did show up, but I thought that a hotel in this day and age should have some contact with its shuttle other than an arrival schedule in the morning

First thing I walked into the place you could smell it was clean. Rooms very nice and staff was friendly. They assisted me in my needs. I was able to walk half mile to target. Same for a Mexican rest. Price was good as well and free shuttle to and from airport.

Excellent stay, so good we decided to stay longer. I cannot say enough about the front desk staff, so kind and helpful. Property is kept very clean, it's quiet and you have your privacy. Tons of restaurants, shops and transportation to downtown Pittsburgh within walking distant.

The bed was very comfortable, but the room needed new carpet as this was sticky and smelly. The heater blew the curtains up every time it turned on and they flapped all night. Came from Pittsburg International and they only had one cargo van making the rounds. You had to call when you arrived and it was about a 40 minute wait in chilly conditions.
