When we checked in, we felt like we were viewed as “old boomers.” Three young people were behind the desk but it seemed like no one really wanted to help (the woman picked up a phone just as one of the men motioned that she help us; the other man just looked at us; finally, the first man helped us -but not overly friendly. He ran through what the food options were in the hotel (we don’t serve you, you help yourself) and informed me my room reservation did NOT include the free breakfast. Hmm. Then this morning, I was already in the shower when I realized the containers were both Conditioners —neither was a Shampoo or Bath Gel. I mentioned it when I checked out (so they’d let Housekeeping know) and another young guy said, “Did you call Guest Services ?” “No,” I said. “I was already in the shower.” He just shrugged and said, “Oh, I see.”
But the room was clean, the layout was perfect, I liked the feel of the room and the colors of the tile and amenities (hairdryer, dispensers) looked great.
