This hotel was in a great location with many nice restaurants on the door step and plenty of history in the town. The staff were so friendly and helpful would definitely stay there again

This is a lovely hotel - the building itself is full of character with plenty of space throuhgout. With free hot drinks and a vending machine for snacks, soft drinks and some alchoholic ones too, there is no need to rush out - but literaly within a stone's throw are 2 restaurants and 2 pubs - and for powerfully-armed cricketers - a couple of cafes. Our limited interactions with the staff found them all to be very helpful and friendly. A huge thank-you to all.

Fabulous stay at the Sleeping Bear hotels in Dorchester. All of the staff were amazing and the rooms were lovely and really comfortable. Booking the parking in the hotel car park was easy and worthwhile

We had a very nice stay at The Sleeping Bear. The room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. Please be aware with no lift it is a little tricky getting up and down the stairs if you are less mobile. An excellent stay!

Had a fan in the room you could use for the heat. Very easy parking for cars. Longer spaces at the front for long cars. Vending machine at the bottom of the stairs. Very impressed! Would definitely stay here again

I stayed at the Sleeping Bear as a base for a two night trip to the Jurassic coast. I travelled by rail, its a ten minute walk up from the station with nearby bus stops close by. I stayed in room 2 in the courtyard, I appreciated this as I'm not good with stairs. This was a good size room, with a double bed and a large ensuite bathroom. There's freeview tv& hot drinks and biscuits: They also offered free premium coffee from a maker in the lobby. Although the restaurant isn't currently in use, there's a excellent selection of café and restaurants nearby for breakfast. All in all a good stay.

A very well set out place with very friendly and helpful staff .The room was great and clean ,although some mould around the bath but overall a great place to stay .Noisy outside until the early hours but not a lot you can do about that .

We arrived late at the Sleeping Bear Hotel and the self check-in was incredibly easy and smooth. We simply pressed the green button by the door and followed the instructions. Walking through the hallway, staircase and lovely sitting/living room area with my daughter, we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and cosy everything looked. There were lots of comfortable sofas with cushions, making it feel just like home, and we loved that we could make coffee from the machine whenever we wanted. Our room was very clean and cosy, and the mattress was unbelievably comfortable and soft. At check-out, the two lovely ladies at reception even found me a takeaway cup so I could take my coffee with me. A truly wonderful stay — I will definitely be coming back!
