6/10 Good

Besides the electricity going out. It was a good location to Yosemite. There was mold in the shower. I was not happy with the resturant on-site when the electricity went out they were yelling at customers

Great lodging close to Yosemite park, friendly staff

4/10 Fair

This hotel in El Portal is 30 mins from Yosemite National park, so commute was fine. But Internet in the room was terrible. Also, the beds were not at all comfortable. Front Desk couldn't assist either on Bedding or the very poor internet. Restaurant on site was good as no other restaurants nearby. The hot tub and indoor pool was great which was temperature controlled.

Toilet is very old style. The seat is very low. The floor is dark and old. I think it is time for this lodge to remodel so they can ask tourist to pay the price as high qulity hotel. The restaurant isn't good either.

Great fro family trip

Liked the staffs, environment, the room and the amenities, nearby the river and close to the Yosemite west entrance. Poor wifi, no phone signal, old chairs, bad TV graphics.
Ka Ming, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Had a great stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were very nice, with a park-like area next to the river.
Michael, 1-night trip

Average hotel

The location of the hotel was great but everything else was average. The sheets , towels and rooms overall are old. They need to upgrade for sure.
Rakesh, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Good place to use as base to Yosemite

Plus: Great location. Fast check in and checkout. Good convenience store to get items for the hikes. Rooms were large and clean. All employees are very nice and provide a great service. Negatives: no service whatsoever during a two night stay. Breakfast is not good at all and starts late (as most of the hikers leave early to Yosemite).
Daniel, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good location

Room was clean and beds are fairly comfortable. Location was good as it is only 40 minutes into the park. We only stayed 1 night so was not able to enjoy the pool or eat at the restaurant. The main complaint is the shower turns cold and hot and cannot maintain the temperature while showering. The bed linens look like they got scratched by a cat and needs to be replaced, the AC is too cold when turned on, but will be too hot if turned down. Otherwise it is a comfortable place to rest your head after days of hiking
Sharie, 1-night trip

Nice place to stay near Yosemite

Room was very clean and a good size. Bar and grill on premises served simple but tasty food
Scott, 2-night trip
