The College Club of Boston has a perfect location -- a block from the public parks, across the street from a tree-lined walkway and nearby restaurants and luxury retailers. Staff is cordial, but cleaning guys are clueless. (They made no attempt to make the bed and picked up full cups of tea we hadn't drunk as well as an empty soda cup I wanted to use to make ice tea.) There's no recycle options in room trash cans. The room we had was enormous and comfortable. There are no televisions, but free wifi worked.
The elevator is a gift given the steep stairs, except when the cleaning guy disables it so he doesn't have to wait for it to reach the floor he's on. There is no night staff, which wasn't important to us. It's a very, very safe area.
Breakfast buffet was generous and they don't hurry you out.
We'd definitely stay here again!!
PS No parking nearby and parking officer comes by regularly.
