Takahata is a great little suburb of Tokyo. Plenty of shops next to the station and a convenience store is 4 minute walk from the apartment There is a beautiful temple 5 minutes walk from the apartment as well. Behind the apartment is a large river which is great to jog along.
The Keio Takahata station is 7 minutes walk from the apartment and you can catch the express and be in Shinjuku in 36 minutes
Its close to a train track but this is common in Japan and 95% of guests aren't bothered about this.
