The hotel room was a very nice room & the grounds looked nice as well. The problem was the cleanliness of the room itself. Upon arriving & settling into the room we noticed that there was sewage water in both sinks in the bathroom & the shower was still wet. Immediately I called guest services & asked for someone to come unclog/clean the sinks, we were told engineering would be there very soon. While waiting almost 30 minutes for engineering to come I noticed the entry had coffee spills on the floor, the tub had some large particles in it and this just led me to believe either the room was never cleaned or someone literally just checked out before we got there, either way is not a good look. I called guest services again from my cell & I was transferred 4 times to get to someone & on hold for about 15min (between the arriving & calls over an hour had passed at this point) so I started walking to the front desk while on hold and halfway over I was hung up on. In the meantime my girlfriend was in the room trying to get someone to respond and running into the same issues. Upon approaching the front desk I asked for a manager I was told it would be 20-30 min to talk to the manager. I was really upset by this & couldn’t understand why I couldn’t just change rooms & they could deal with the raw sewage on their time. Now I have paid for a room I can’t use, I was late for food reservations & I had to wait? Poor service, no immediate refund & the hotel blamed hotels.com for the refund
