Colonna Pevero Hotel

We had a great stay at this Hotel, lovely room with balcony with amazing views overlooking the bay. Staff were all friendly & helpful. As well as the large pool there were a few more small ones with seating around but more secluded, great to relax and have a quiet read. Location was perfect for what we wanted, easy access to the beach and main port around 5 minutes drive away. One small negative was that there always seemed to be lots of wasps around at breakfast time whizzing past your head and on to your table, but won't let that stop us giving top rating for this hotel.

The hotel itself is lovely, set in the hills surrounded by trees and just a very short walk to the hotel's private beach where you have the use of the hotels own sun loungers, towels and umbrellas which are helpfully put out for you by the lifeguard (its the same at the pool too). Our room was on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel overlooking the 5 interconnecting pools, which are beautifully clear and clean. The room was clean and spacious, though somewhat lacking in storage space for clothes but we didn't really mind. The towels and sheets were changed every day. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, all except the reception staff whom sometimes needed to be asked things 2 and 3 times. Otherwise it was lovely. Expensive (as with everything in Sardinia) but lovely. Would go back.

Everything was amazing!

I stayed in the classic room which was a good, pleasant spacious room, however the TV was surprisingly very small, to which they were accommodating to change to a larger screen. There is a night club during peak times to which they play very loud music till 4am, with no consideration to guests. This was very disturbing and annoying. Fortunately the manager changed my room the next day to the opposite side of the hotel, The room service charge an extra 12 euros on top of anything ordered to the room, which is bit too high compared to other hotels. There is absolutely nothing to do walking distance around the hotel, except a small beach. No cafes, restaurants (other than within the hotel) , shops, supermarkets are near the hotel. A car is a must. Taxis are very expensive and not very practical . That made it a bit boring and is a big shame. The best thing about the hotel was the pools and hotel grounds which were very pleasant. Generally a nice hotel and pretty location.

Beautiful property with full amenities. Gorgeous views of the Sea. Pool area is really well done, with multiple pools and cute enclaves. Very convenient location to the restaurants as well as the port. Rooms are simple and clean, could have been slighter more luxurious for the price.
