Great location but the room was really small! The shower is situated in the middle of the room which was kind a weird.

Location was good. Breakfast area was excellent. Room was more spacious than two of the other hotels we stayed at in Germany. I wouldn’t stay here again. Felt the staff needs lessons on hospitality. They were all rude except for the cleaning lady. I did see the front staff joke with the attractive young women guests. They need to take some lessons from Marriott or Hilton. I’ll go back to Motel One or Eurostar. Train your staff to say good morning to all guests not just select ones. Also on checkout, there was a sign on the desk about your discounts. Did any staff mention that to us on check in. Why no. That would have been helpful to tourists coming to Germany for the first time. The hotel is nice just don’t expect any kindness from the staff.

The location was excellent, the bed comfortable (apart from the formless pillows), and we were happy our request for a room far from the lift with a tub was honoured. We were able to walk most everywhere or use the nearby underground stations. There were plenty of good restaurants and even grocery stores nearby. Staff was nice, and efficient. Our big complaint is that they would only give us one room key for 2 people and would not give us a second one, which is ridiculous as they use programmable key cards. This meant having to coordinate when we‘d be back if we didn’t go out together or the person in the room had to get dressed to let the other person in as the key card was required to operate the lift.
