This quaint private hotel has great rooms with old time but updated charm & amenities. Love the balconies that over look the pool. They are each private so you can leave doors open & be as free as you want.

Cela a mal commencé pour nous car nous avons attendu 2 heures avant d'avoir enfin le code d'accès à notre chambre. C'était très stressant. Je précise qu'il n'y a aucun personnel pour vous venir en aide. Finalement on nous a attribué par téléphone la chambre 306 (je ne sais pas si les autres chambres présentent le même laissez aller). En découvrant notre chambre, l'effet est bluffant. C'est très cosy et décoré avec gout. La première utilisation du robinet fut surprenante, complètement trempés tant le jet est fort et donc nous nous sommes rafraichis avec un minuscule filet d'eau ! par contre la douche distribuait l'eau très chichement. En voulant sécher les cheveux nous avons constaté que les 2 prises au lavabo étaient HS ; le filtre de la clim alertait qu'il devait être changé ; nous avons dormi dans des draps propres certes mais tachés (pas digne d'un établissement comme celui là) ; enfin, nous avons regretté l'absence d'une petite table ou desserte (nous nous servions du dessus du frigo). Une série de détails dûe à la négligence ...la fameuse nonchalance du sud ?

I stayed here 7 here’s ago for my birthday and I came back for my birthday. I do wish I had a balcony but it’s ok. It gave me the classic New Orleans vibe just as it did the first time. It’s an old building so don’t expect it to be extravagant, if you’re looking for a true New Orleans stay this is the place to be. Very simple, quiet and relaxing. Very close to Jackson square, bourbon and just about everything else.

Very nice, clean and super secure location was perfect nearby parking. The only downside was there was no microwave or ice machine available, but I would still definitely recommend and would book again in the future.

While the hotel itself was great, the location is not. We had a street side balcony room, which may have been the issue. The omni royal hotel is across the street and they had their dumpsters emptied at 4 am. The hotel is also between restaurants and they get their food deliveries early in the AM. We bought earplugs so it was fine, but just be aware that it is LOUD. Everything else was great

We were on the 3rd floor had extremely heavy suitcases and were not aware of no elevator. We had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with our suitcases. The building is very old. Chipped wood and rusted metals inside the rooms. Our main light did not work. I would not recommend for comfort but if you love 3 min walking distance to everything in the French Quarter it’s ok

Fantastic stay! Loved the pool and the HUGE rooms!! Pool area and front awning need some TLC, curtains in the room would have been nice, but the location and large rooms were amazing!!!

The room was very nice. The ice maker did not work. I dislike not having a receptionist. If you needed towels there was no one to talk to at all. Everything is done over the phone, which I don’t like.

Positives - great location. Easy to walk to everything Negative - bathroom has mold all over. Use bleach or something to properly clean.
