The bed was very comfortable and the amenities in the room were great. Check in was quick and easy. Very quiet rooms and the breakfast had a variety of foods to choose from. A very pleasant stay and close to everything.

The location near the Excursion Trail-we took the Potomac Eagle- was perfect. This is a standard, no frills hotel that exactly as advertised. There is a CVS, good restaurant, grocery store and even a Good Will in the same parking lot area (adjacent to the property). The hotel was very quiet at night which was nice. Breakfast was very sparse. Microwaved sandwiches and individually wrapped pastries. However, the staff was very friendly. This is an older facility (still has keys with punch holes in them) that has had some noticeable upgrades to the lobby. We are not country folks but the quaintness and charm of the staff made it a pleasurable stay.

Elevator went out second at there and it still wasn’t working g five days later. Lost internet on fifth day, got it back next day. Grab and go breakfast was awful.

Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. No frills but everything n ended for a weekend. Our tv didn’t work the best but we were not in room that much. Breakfast could have been a little better. Maybe some pastries or something.

First of all, the staff were beyond helpful...but the rest of the stay was not great. For the price I paid, there are really no amenities: no pool, the lone elevator was out of order, the breakfast was below basic (with no diabetic options except lukewarm coffee and some yogurt), the mattress was worn, as was the bedding, and the room felt damp. It wasn't "bad", but we have had much better, at a much lower price. In summary, I felt overcharged for what I received... I DO want to say how much the morning desk person was helpful in getting us down to the 1st floor, and checking us in early. Highlight of the stay...

This hotel is in good condition even though it seems to be older. The breakfast was Continental with some cold pastry choices. Yogurts microwavable breakfast sandwiches and cold cereal. Staff was very friendly. We use the Tesla destination charger in the back of the hotel and it worked wonderful for our stay

Room 115 had the most uncomfortable bed. We were sleeping on springs. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that doesn’t have pillow top mattresses. But the staff were polite.

Pros: The beds were comfortable Cons: The bathroom was poorly lit; the shower made a loud squeaking type noise when we turned it on and the air conditioning unit had a very loud rattling noise so we could not use that and it was a very warm weekend.
