NoMo SoHo

I stayed in this hotel for many years when it was the Mondrian but since changing hands to the NoMo, the rooms are hideously expensive, basic and outdated. The AC/heating units in the rooms are old and noisy, the bedlinen is poor quality w/ only two pillows on a queen bed and the room service is basic at best. Additionally, the booking promises a 'city view' and what I actually received was a view onto a brick wall and scaffolding, at an obnoxious price of $485 per night.

Lovely hotel, really nice people on the staff, great location, good vibe. Rooms are too small and cramped.

There was an issue with our reservation (we didn't get a connected room), and the manager sent us to talk with hotels.com about it. The day after the moved us to a new room. No one assisted us with our luggage when we arrived. The rooms had TERRIBLE smell of cigarettes. Besides that, the location is good, the restaurant is nice and the rooms are small but comfortable.

Second stay at the NOMO and I love the location and having the NoMo Kitchen there at the property. Our view was a zero this trip where we had awesome views in February of this year. Next time. Concierge was very helpful.
