Rodeway Inn & Suites Tupelo – Tupelo

The young lady who signed me in that night was very sweet, professional and friendly. She brought extra towels and pillows to my room that night, per my request. However, the room was not in as good of shape as I felt it should have been. The television didn't work ("digital channel signals too low"), the sink wouldn't drain properly, the commode swirled water around but would not empty, the bathroom floor and tub had dried nail polish drops everywhere and there was a child's glitter sticker on the bathroom floor; there were used cups under the sink stand that had not been cleaned up from the last person's stay, the volume knob on the radio was stuck on the highest volume, the chair was greasy and needed to be cleaned; the shower knobs were loose; the cold water in the shower would suddenly stop and the hot water would burn me for several seconds at intervals; the ironing board was broken and would not stand up to be used; the left side of the toilet seat was broken (the plastic part that connected it was on the floor under the commode); the tub walls had dirty spots on them that needed to be cleaned off; the bed sheets were clean, but there was a crumb of something in the bed when I turned back the sheets.

Had a great time will definitely stay again.

The room appeared clean but the furniture had severe wear and tear on some pieces. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. The carpet felt sticky to the bottoms of our feet and could use a good steam cleaning. There wasn't enough of a selection on the continental breakfast for us but if you were in a pinch it would suffice. The location was a little undesirable but the pool area was fabulous!

Staff is Very Rude cops were there each night of stay. Spend the extra ten bucks and go to the econolodge

We had to book this hotel at the last minute when our plans to stay with family were changed. Hotels.com was great on my iphone. I usually book in advance from my home computer. At the motel, the staff were very nice except for 1 man I will explain later. Room was clean and mattress was comfortable. Nice having a refrigerator in the the room. Besides visiting family we were in Tupelo for an art fair where my husband had his photography. We stayed for 5 nights - Wednesday through Sunday with check out Monday am.Our charges were prepaid.Thursday evening we returned to the hotel and were locked out of our room. We went to the office and a nice lady reactivated our keys. Friday was fine. Saturday night we returned to our room and were again locked out! My husband went to the office but the man behind the desk would not reactivate the keys until I went and showed him my ID as the room was in my name. I went to the office and he was very gruff and checked my ID over as if I was a 16 yr old trying to buy alcohol! He finally reactivated the keys.He also did not apologize for our inconvience. On Sunday night the same thing happened!! This is 3 nights out of 5!!! The same gruff man was there but this time he was nice and did not scrutinize my ID! Except for the key problem and the gruff clerk, our stay was ok.
