The Maritime Beach Club cannot be recommended for anyone with physical limitations and has poor maintenance and professionalism standards that would negatively impact any stay. I am physically disabled and requested 1st or 2nd floor accommodations, but was given a room on the 9th floor. I was willing to accept a smaller suite than reserved to allow for 1st or 2nd floor lodging, but was refused. Other notable concerns included extended elevator waits, a severe shortage of luggage carts, no hot water, no service assistance for individuals with disabilities, a suite that had not been adequately sanitized prior to check-in (dirty towels and a large number of flying insects in the room). Ethically, I was very concerned when they attempted to double-charge me for my stay upon check-in and they pressed the issue until I provided my paid-in-full receipt. My week at this resort was so miserable that I attempted to rebook my flight home to leave early and would have done so if the change fees were not so expensive
