Room was very clean & comfortable. Because the main focus of the property is the pub/restaurant, the check-in and service felt a bit secondary, and the staff lacked the usual hospitality warmth you would expect at a hotel.

Booked this off a wim. What a great little place we have found! Broke up the journey from south to north well and was modern, clean, friendly, quiet and a really good place to stay! Will definitely be staying again next time we have to make the journey this way! Ideal location. Breakfast was really good in the morning too!

What a lovely hotel, everything was excellent. The only issue we had was being told by 2 members of staff that the kitchen closed at 9pm but when i went down to place a food order at 8.45pm i was told the kitchen had already closed at 8.30pm as it was a Sunday. Breakfast was fantastic and an added bonus as included within the price. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.

Room (106) was pretty, clean and with a great bathroom with walk in shower. TV was difficult to get working and it was set in an awkward position in the room. Bed was very comfortable though not sure if it was king size as per description. Excellent English breakfast. As there’s a pub downstairs, it was only quiet when the pub closed. We had a great stay

An overall fantastic experience. The staff - especially housekeeping - were so welcoming and helpful. It really did make my stay that much better. This was my 3rd stay, and I will definitely go back.

Lovely little find. Well situated for Telford and Lilleshall National sports centre. Rooms are cosy and well equipped with nice decor. Probably the comfiest sheets I’ve had in a hotel actually. Plenty of storage. Nice shower. Couple of bits could do with a lick of paint but I think it’s more obvious as it’s a dark colour and it didn’t detract from the stay. We didn’t get to try breakfast as it wasn’t served until 8am and we had to eleven before then. So slightly earlier might’ve been better for us but over all we reccomend amd would come back

Very helpful staff the breakfast and evening meal were very good and the manager made sure we had a table even though it was very busy.

Breakfast excellent. Room was bijou beautifully finished. I’m not so sure about the 4 poster bed which made the room quite small remove the 4 poster and it would have been an excellent review

Very pleasant stay overall, with a cosy and well-maintained room. The service was excellent throughout — Alex and his team were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made a real difference to the experience. The food was another highlight, with excellent quality at both dinner and breakfast. The team also showed great flexibility in accommodating special requests, which was very much appreciated. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay that I would happily recommend.
