Ett helt fantastiskt boende i en charmig miljö. Frukosten var delikat med nypressad äpplejuice, gott bröd, fin ost och skinka mm. Personalen var så underbara. Så trevliga och hjälpsamma. Något mer prisvärt boende är svårt att hitta så passa på att bo här om ni reser till Lille. Hotellet hade också en restaurang som var en liten juvel. 💎

Excellent location and very friendly staff. A characterful old building and super clean. The only reason we didn't give it an 'excellent' was the room was very small and quite difficult to manoeuvre around. For one night absolutely no problem. Very nicely decorated throughout as well.

Very easy to check in and great location. The room was simple but nice! (Although the ceilings in our room (blue room) were quite low so a bit of a hazard for tall people). The restaurant downstairs was excellent! Highly recommend for dinner.

Chambre agréable mais petite ( bruyant côté rue ). belle sdb avec une grande douche .manque une petite Clim , petit bémol la machine à café et la bouilloire se trouvent dans le couloir et le tarif excessif le jour de la braderie. Bel endroit … très bon petit déjeuner avec un très bon service .

Schone kamer met een heerlijk restaurantje. Wij verbleven 1 nachtje tijdens doorreis dus dit was dé perfecte combi. Gemakkelijk om zelf in te checken, maar ook de bediening en ontvangst was heel vriendelijk. Het ontbijtje 's morgens was heerlijk!

Tiny cute hotel, perfect for a couple or solo travel. George’s is super host and you can have an amazing dinner downstairs.

Utmärkt frukost. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Branta trappor och det blir svårt få upp tungt bagage i trapporna som delvis saknar räcken.

Everything was lovely, tastefully decorated and well furnished. Good quality breakfast. Very helpful staff. It wasn’t a problem for me but it’s worth knowing that the rooms are accessed by a narrow, spiral staircase which may be difficult for some. I would most definitely recommend Chez Georges.

We booked the smallest room and it was as described and fine for a one night stay, although I did trip over the sharp metal corner of the bedframe a few times! The room was clean and stylish, and Georges and Diane were welcoming and helpful. There's no air con but there is a fan. Be careful if opening windows as we had some bugs come in and got very badly bitten 🙁 The continental breakfast was good quality (great that it's all local) and the staff member serving the breakfast was lovely. Also there are lockers where you can leave your bag after check-out, which is really helpful as there's lots of nice places to explore nearby.

We loved this place. It was a cozy room in an old walk up, with lots of character. George is also an amazing chef and runs the restaurant underneath. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Check in was contactless and easy, with clear instructions. Wish all are accommodations were as great as this one. Walkable to the Citadel, shops, restaurants. George also created a handout with recommendations for other local shops/restaurants that are worth visiting. Would definitely book again.

The staff of Chez George's could not be nicer. The breakfast was so fantastic - freshly baked local breads, cheeses and yogurt. The room is efficient and tidy with a modern bathroom. The rooms are located up a narrow winding staircase so keep that in mind. There are lockers for storage. The area around the hotel is so beautiful.

Superb stay. Great location just a short walk to the main centre of the old town and round the corner from Charles de Gaulle birthplace. George was very friendly and hospitable. Check in was on a Sunday afternoon so no staff were around but it was very easy. The room was spotless, clean, fresh & cosy after putting on the heating. Not good if you are tall! Parking was possible on the street. Free on Sunday or after 7 pm until 9am then 3€/hr using the Easypark app. Breakfast was simple, fresh and delicious with AMAZING coffee. Highly recommend and we will return.
