We booked a smaller room as we were not going to be spending a lot of time at the hotel. We were fortunate to get an ocean view and the beds were quite comfortable. The cleaning staff were friendly and quick to replenish needed supplies. The hotel made a point of keeping as much of the original build as possible making you feel like you've stepped back in time. You may discover the flooring is a little warped and the windows slightly breezy but it did not affect our stay at all; in our minds, it was part of the England charm as most places we visited had warped floors, including sidewalks/walkways. We also included breakfast when we booked. The restaurant food was delicious with lots of options, including gluten free. The staff were absolutely wonderful especially Paulo, Parshad and Carla who ensured our meal was enjoyable on all levels.

Unfortunately, this statement is not correct. This hotel does not offer Airport Transfers; however, there are several options that you can book in advance to ensure you have a car available for your travel to and from the airport. If you rent a vehicle, there is permit parking available at the hotel.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and did an extreme amount of walking. I highly recommend comfortable walking shoes.
