Great location

A great place where to stay in Lapa, a couple of minutes away from all the lively bars and restaurants. Very nice and spacious room . Good breakfast.

This hotel is very nice, I had a great stay here, breakfast is great, front desk and bellmen always there to help you with your concerns

The AC In our room has Water dripping but they response it fast Breakfast buffet is good

Américas Granada Hotel was where my boyfriend and I stayed in the area of Lapa for 6 nights. It’s an older, run down party area of town. We arrived on a Friday night and the little beat up pub across the street was packed and partying until late hours of the night, lots of loud music and tons of people. Saturday was similiar except the party carried on until at least 7 am. My boyfriend and I woke up early as we had a tour excertion set for that morning and we went outside the front of the hotel around 6:15am for a coffee and smoke and the clubs down the street were still rocking loud music and dozens of people carrying drinks walking down the street. Lots of commotion in the area on the weekends but very interesting scene to experience. The staff were amazing, we are Canadian and our Portuguese was less then good but they did an amazing job understanding and helping us. Uber picked us up very quickly (2-5 min average). The service in our room was done every day, clean towels delivered and room was always spotless when we returned. The breakfast buffet was also very good, lots of fresh fruit and the coffee was strong (no cream) but add one sugar and it was a taste of Brazilian culture. The rooftop view was spectacular seeing the Metropolitan Cathedral lit up at night in one direction and Christ the Redeemer statue lit up in the other direction. However the rooftop bar is confusing, there is no bartender there so we always just took our beer up. Overall, great experience!
