Facade Hotel Amsterdam

Great location, clean, and comfortable with friendly staff. We stayed in a private room on the 3rd floor facing the street with a view of a canal. Hotel Vijaya is centrally located in the heart of Amsterdam just a few minutes walk from the central train station and Dam Square.

Overall accrotablrle experience,location is excellent and staff helpful Negative points, Room was too small for two single beds and a very odd arrangement. You need to be fit to travel up and down 4 flights of stairs. Disappointed that rooms have no complimentary hot drinks or equipment to do so. You have to pay 2 euros each time to use the communal vending machine for a very small cup of coffee

The Hotel is situated at 10 minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal Station. In front of the Hotel, there is a canal and there are a lot of shops, Restaurants and Coffee. Very Central!

We wanted a cheap place to stay just for our night before our flight back (we had to leave to the airport at 4am). It was perfect for this plan. The price was cheap, we got a small room, basic, clean. There was a little bit noise from the street but we put on background music and it was fine. The hotel is in walking distance from the city center and the central station. If you are looking for a place just to sleep and shower, it's cool.

Service and communication was great. Location great. Renovation looked good except our shower door was missing. Overall for one night it was a nice space for our family.

Good location but bad for parking five minutes walk to all activities

The room and bed it’s self was okay however the bathroom was ridiculous.... we stayed in a double room and the bathroom was so tiny..... the tile in the shower on the floor was cracked ! Told the staff about it they didn’t seem to care....! Would not stay here again !

Terrible experience! We had bedbugs inside the room and we've been bitten everywhere. The hotel is in a bad state of disrepair and the room hasn't been cleaned once for the whole stay. After travelling back Home we had to sanitize ourselves and all the stuff that were in the room before enter our own house to avoid the contagion as we have carpet on the floor, and I've found a bug in my suitcase. That's disgusting! And they didn't even give us a different room but suggest us to go in another hotel which is insane considering that doing that would have meant infesting another hotel. We want to be fully refunded.

Comfortable and very helpful. The place is obviously going through renovation. It’s very noisy on the first floor at the front and it could have been cleaner on arrival but for the price it was all good.

Newly renovated pod style accommodation, bed, toilet, shower & TV. Stale smoke remnants still there from pre reno. If you wish to be middle of a Red Light district this is the location. Very noisy, that was my mistake for not understanding area properly. Otherwise it was fine.
