Planet Apartments

Stay was good overall. Check-in process was a bit unclear and had to call to figure it out. Otherwise the room was great and very spacious. One complaint was that there was a nice tv that didn’t seem to be hooked up to anything. Couldn’t watch anything.

The best location in Iceland. Down by the water with views of the mountain. Plenty of room for a family of four and all the amenities of home. Highly recommend this apartment!

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location would highly recommend

We could not have happier! Despite a snafu in the beginning, the host was quick to remedy the situation. This place has it all! Food stores two blocks up the hill, restaurants across the street and two blocks down the street. Best fish s d chips at Fish Co.

My wife and I came to Reykjavik for our honeymoon and were so happy to have stayed in this outstanding apartment. The space was larger than expected. Clean, modern and excellently appointed- strong wifi, full kitchen, washer and dryer as well as a parking place. The location, a few blocks away from the fun tourist area of town, was superb. We had a view of the marina with the white mountains (that looked like "The Wall" from Game of Thrones) in the background. In between all our site seeing, it was lovely to come back to this home base. My wife and I were so happy to have stayed here and would choose this apartment again, in a heartbeat. One note-- Make sure you get the email before you arrive! The final instructional email from Planet Apartments, that was sent out a few days before our scheduled arrival, went to my spam folder. I didn't realized there was no "office" on site and that I needed all the info in the email ahead of time to get into our apartment. So we showed up cold and had a bit of a faltering start finding someone to help us. It took a phone call and then it all got sorted out. I have to thank the very patient and attentive people with Planet Apartments who were swift to attend to us and give us the info we needed to into our apartment. It's my fault to not to have seen the email, but the people with Planet Apartments were great. The apartment was great. It was a win all around.
