Beautifully kept accommodation, well maintained and very clean. Close to centre and parks. Breakfast was made to order and lovely.
Almost a great old fashioned type of bed-and breakfast. Reasonable rooms in a renovated building, the most difficult thing was finding the address. (Crescent Gardens is not a separate road but part of the larger Old Bristol Road). The location when you find it is however excellent, the same can be said for the brakfast
Great location, everything you’d need. Room was perfect.
We wanted to be just out of town so great place 10 min walk into town. Staff were waiting for us to give us info and keys very nice easy to talk to. Breakfast was lovely good choice staff were very covid ready masks on. Only niggle as its old building floors were creaky so could hear a lot of walking 4 in thr morning when people came in
Hot water went off during first evening randomly, while we were getting ready to go out for dinner, so we had to wait for them to get it back on before showering. A flashing light outside the curtains on the main road kept my wife up during the night. The room was generally a little noisy overlooking a main road. The worst and lowest point however was going into the breakfast room to find the owner had completely ignored my wife’s - pretty basic: a non dairy milk and some gluten free bread and cereal - dietary requests (which we made in advance through Hotels.com) meaning we had to abandon breakfast and go into town instead. I called the owner who gave me £30 off. We couldn’t check out fast enough after that. A soulless, weird sort of experience with no front desk and nobody to speak to for local tips etc. More like an expensive hostel than a 4-star B&B.
We arrived at the hotel after a great day at Longleat safari park. The room was beautiful, very large with a super comfortable bed - I took photos of the pillow make! Very clean and tidy. The hotel is a few streets in front of the Royal Crescent, which I'd recommend walking past into town. We ended up at the Thai Balcony for dinner as we'd been the year before for my birthday and I don't think my partner had stopped thinking about the food since! This was on the same street as the hotel, about a 7 minute walk. There's no lift, so be prepared to haul your luggage up some stairs and make sure you ask the staff for a parking permit. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was lovely, plenty of it! I'd definitely stay here again!
Brilliant B&B. The room was very clean and well-presented with simple decor. I couldn’t see a wheelchair access so, please check the listing or ask before booking. The breakfast menu was expectedly limited but the food was made to order, delicious and vegetarian options can be provided if a request is made at booking. The location is close to city centre so there are nice restaurants within a walking distance: remember to pre-book especially because of social distancing measures. The staff are helpful, thoughtful and lovely. What more can you ask for. The Royal crescent is a 6-minute walk from the location (uphill walk), which is good for a relaxing summer evening.
Lovely B&B with a great breakfast and attentive staff!
We spent a couple of days over New Year at this lovely B&B. The rooms are very comfortable (and clean), the staff are very friendly & helpful and the breakfast was superb. It's only a 10mins walk from the centre of Bath so it's also a great location. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay. The staff were very welcoming and so friendly. We were checked in by a very nice guy and served an amazing breakfast by a very nice lady. The room was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. Would 100% recommend this place and would definitely stay again if we’re back in Bath. Thank you so much.
