Hotel Ambiente Berlin City

Trip was amazing, the location is accessible to the city. The room was clean and People were accommodating. Except for one person who was on duty this morning June 22, we had our breakfast at around 640 AM because we are checking out at 7 to catch our flight. The guy informed me that breakfast should be at 7 AM and he was kinda rude, the way he said it and the tone of his voice is super unfriendly. He could have been polite since he knows we are tourists and he should be thankful enough that there are people staying at their place so he can keep his job. The management must look into this so that people will come back for repeat visit and even recommend the hotel. But if not, it people will be disappointed on their service and wont recommend the hotel.

Great, great value. Good customer service. Lovely breakfast. Very nice young lady on reception. Clean. Central location at a really affordable price. Would highly recommend.

Hotel Ambiente is located conveniently for all of the sights of Berlin. The underground station is nearby as are bus stops. One ticket buys you the underground and the buses. It is cheaper than London. A lot of the sights are within walking distance (provided you are fit). There plenty of fast food places near to the hotel were food is cheap and filling. My wife and I were particularly impressed by the falafel take away which charged less for a full meal than a sandwich in London. Also try the Impala cafe for good coffee.

Clean, and good value for money. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate with good spacious bathroom with shower only. Access via a bell operated door. Wifi was a bit hit and miss, but possibly because we were on the 4th floor furthest from reception on the first floor. Breakfast good, typical German breakfast cooked meats rolls yoghurts cereal etc

The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to various places and not far from the city central district. The service was good. My only issue was the room itself. The towels were pretty worn out, so kind of a disappointment. The images from the hotel online showed I was going to be given a rooms with a balcony and bigger bed then what i had. Typically I don’t mind the size of the bed but when I slept I kept on hitting the bed frame at the end of the mattress. Apperently I was too tall for the bed. So, tall people beware. I ended up placing a towel at the bed frame and that helped. But that’s a minor thing I can live with. It was just a surprise when I arrived. The breakfast was great though. A good selection of Meats and cheese and other breakfast options.
