Star Inn Hotel Premium Wien Hauptbahnhof

Right opposite the main station, and within walking distance of the Belmont Palace and several tram stops. Clean, quiet, and very accommodating. We’re more than happy to grant my request for a room overlooking the station (train enthusiast). Blackout curtains, and very nice bathroom.

We booked a double bed room. we are travelling with a young child. We were surprised that the shower room has no door as part of the design. The breakfast was yummy. Good location.

Quiet room overlooking part of station and city in distance. Fridge in room which was appreciated. Good grocery market at station. A little out of city centre but good walk or transport hub at station. Convenient for train service on RJ to airport (4.40€ p.p. one way). Staff helpful. Only negative we found the bed a little uncomfortable, but fortunately an extra quilt helped!

The hotel is located in front of the station and good access to anywhere. It seems very safe even at night. Also, the staff is nice and room is very clean. However the shower drain was clogged up and water was overflowing to the floor. Wifi was so weak that I couldn’t even connected to. I would like to improve these things.

Location could not be better - across from train station Coffee was an issue and the breakfast was overpriced compared to so many options in Vienna. The bathroom was odd with a separate toilet room but no door on the shower room. Wifi was unacceptable but many cafes in Vienna filled the gap. The staff at reception was extremely helpful with maps and directions, train/subway connections etc.

Hotel was fine, apart from the step in the shower which I fell over and smacked my head. Watch out for the step.
