Quality Inn The George Hotel Ballarat

The George Hotel was conveniently located, within easy walking distance from the train/coach station. The room was good - our room had a kitchenette, which was very handy. The staff were friendly and helpful, but not always there. It was a bit strange initially to have frosted glass panels between the bedroom and ensuite. It would have been preferable to have solid wooden panels. The door between the bedroom and ensuite was a t times difficult to open. The shower was wonderful, but the water seeped into the bedroom if the bathmat was not in place. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times. The food was good.

No Complaints, friendly service, good food, good parking, comfortable room.

Fantastic staff, great location, food and music within hotel. Great vibe! Only downside was frosted small windows so room felt dark and I like natural daylight but that is just a personal thing.

I liked that it had been refurbished I was expecting an “old” hotel

Comfortable room and very quiet on our 1st night a group of young people were very noisy but they settled afer 11pm.

Staff were lovely and room was spotlessly clean. The noisy guests across the road led to not much sleep which was a shame but that’s not the hotels fault

Great location and despite being above a nightclub... we hardly noticed. Room was updated and fresh and well appointed.

I like the location and the facilities to provide option of bars and dining. Possibly a little bit noisy late at night time when it was bedtime with the hotel nice downstairs but not bad at all

Staff were friendly, location was good. Check inn and check was under staffed as office was not managed. Room was a bit noisy fem other patrons but it was a Saturday night.

Very good central position. Old world charm with modern update
